I recommend the "EverlastingAbilities" Mod because its pretty useful and you can customize it alot in the config, you get these abilities via chests or mobs that spawn with particles above their head
If u want modded mobs to target parasites, u have to add them into the target list in one of the config files! I have multiple vanilla enemies set to target them, as well as powerful modded enemies such as Mutant Creatures
I honestly think you should try to include immersive engineering (+immersive intelligence addon) OR electroblobs wizardry in your future parasite playthroughs, both of these mods are tough to figure out but they add some really interesting ways to fight the parasites and give you some more stuff to do. Immersive engineering has a lot of ingame documentation too which really helps.

I believe most Parasites past the early phases have damage caps to what they take... which if you hit gives them a buff. The reason the Halberd was so powerful and Bloodthirst were so powerful was ironically not the damage but the reach letting you actually hit the parasites with melee reasonably. Or at least there is something about this in the config last I checked.
You can use pickaxes to kill the Geonach really quickly, and I definitely recommend looking up how to tame various Lycanites creatures, they're great mounts and they respawn if they die if you put them into a soul gem? I think it's called
I dont know about the whole screen going white (pretty sure its a visual glitch) but I can explain the mobs glowing white. Since you guys have Lycanite Mobs, the Wisp (peaceful mob) will enflict Glowing mobs that are around them. That said, the Wisp cannot effect blocks & the inventory, so it is possible there is a issue in ya'lls MC settings that needs to be fixed
Blood moon + Spiders 2.0 + Epic siege mod + SR parasites = Absolute carnage. Like if you don't have a base then your actually screwed like, you have no chance. Especially when you have hardcore darkness.
Just a note that SRP is literally made to be played with other mods - it is not meant to be played alone. it makes gun mods not be overkill, literally - the only other mod that could be called overkill for SRP is HBM's nuclear tech mod, and even that is hard to use with paras everywhere and the only thing making it overkill being extremely late game swords and armor that you are not going to get anyways.
Crazy amount of mobs on screen as i am surprise it didn't crash right away after that :3 Note: The Wild Dragon from "Fire and Ice" mod will often always targets all mobs and NPCs in the area of the dragon unless there is a player in it's view which then it redirects it's priorities to attack the player then as a player is a higher priority in it's target programing. Basically if you want the wild dragon to attack the parasites just don't get seen by the dragon and it will leave your player alone and do it's thing. I think you can tame a dragon but it's a pain as you need to defeat one then collect enough items from it to create a dragon staff and even food for the dragon which takes a while to collect. And the taming process can be a bit difficult too as it takes awhile and you need to not be interrupted in the process. If you can't successfully tame one you "Could" try your luck then to just try to hatch a baby dragon from a dragon egg... buuut... it's not really recommended as it takes annoyingly more difficult to get resources to make the special block set up just to hatch the egg of your particular dragon and it's worst and a greater pain if it's a rare dragon. The kinds of dragons you can collect being fire, ice, and thunder. One other creature you could tame that is useful in the "Fire and Ice" mod would be the Cockatrice which you can spawn in by throwing a chicken egg which gives chance of you spawning a tame cockatrice which will eventually grow up and become your pet protector like the Doggo pets but much stronger in attacks especially if you make a pack of them to defend your base as they help take down enemy mobs quick but i never tried them against the parasites mod. Ah fyi the Wild Cockatrices however will not be easily tamed and you likely need to make a blindfold just to survive against the wild variations of them.

Since this affects the baseline mod, one could make a case to the devs that it directly impacts your game even if Scape and Run is the ONLY installed mod. It's worth noting that the wither is hardcoded to be immune to all potion effects, which makes this bug not affect it, so it's definitely a bug related to higher levels of coth, which instantly transform an affected mob into an incomplete form even if it's supposed to be immune in the config
Bro you might had a chance if you don't turn off the phases There're a few mobs that makes SRP overpowered Example like "blood moon" mod| some of the mods even make rupters spawn like crazy Turning off the phases with 100+ mods was a terrible idea Because some of the mods can corrupt/glitch the SRP codes, especially the spawning naturally codes That's why you guys saw an ancient overlord in like couple minutes
In case you guys do a more stable run of this (aka Phases turned on) make sure to install a Good weapons mods like Techguns, make yourselves and the vanilla skeletons/zombies more capable of dealing with Parasites, tbh best gun mod out there, way better than Crayfish's textureless guns lmao
Vic's Modern Warfare is fun too in my experience, though it's not completed and they changed the whole gun system so some guns are broken, and some guns are entirely uncraftable.

I mean its still exciting/scary when you go down to a dungeon and find out all the buglin holes lead up to a nest of manglers. Time to borrow mods you found in turn too lol
Dang boys, I could already tell y'all were setting yourselves up for all hell breaking loose just by that thumbnail. Mixing Lycanites with SRP will bring about some oddities like the flesh chunks spawning vapulas incorrectly. I recommend bringing a pickaxe for combat as the Vapula and Geonach are weak to those tools. Ice & Fire is also a hefty choice given how the dragons themselves are giant sources of lag when they're digging & pathfinding. I'd dumb them down a little in the configs and slow down their digging speed when stuck. I also recommend looking in to some fixes & assisting mods like FoamFix, Born in a Barn, Fast Workbench, Had Enough Items (don't mix with JEI), Random Patches, Phosphor, Performant, Clumps & CensoredASM (try to ignore the funny naming & background, the mod helps a lot) to help ease things up in the server & reduce lag on it.
It doesn’t seem too much like a a vs parasites but everyone against you, i think it woyld be cool if you guys remade the video but with all the mods attacking the parasytes

Probably just get turned into KFC
using sturdy stone isnt all that good past phase 2/3, its a good idea to get as much obsidian as possible for your base, since no parasites can break it (to my knowledge)
Other mobs weren't targeting the parasites because you gotta code it into the config. There's a section to make a type of mob naturally hostile to the parasites (by default it's just village golems)
Hey, recently i have been experiencing some trouble with my shaders on 1.12. I load up a world and it is loaded, because i can hear my character moving and stuff. But the screen stays on the dirt blocks. Can anyone help me with this please? Also, how do you make the fog disappear? I hate how 1.12 looks but the only way i can play it without the dirt loading screen staying is without a shader. Load up any world in 1.12 and you will see what i mean. If i use a fogremover mod it often does not work. How do u guys do this? Great series btw. Thanks in advance to anyone that responds!
@@rienvangils78 Well I'm pretty sure you can find one that emulate the 1.14 retextures, plus VanillaTweak can give some nice variety to the textures, and there's always BDCraft, which gives Minecraft a more cartoony look, plus there's Faithful (Previously Compliance) which gives all the textures a higher resolution, so you have a lot of options, also I think there's hardtop? Or something like that, if I recall correctly it gives all the blocks a highly detailed 3D model, which is very costly on performance but it looks great, though it's mostly made FOR shaders, it should look fine on its own I think...
they actually added electroblob's wizardry, i knew they were based tho you should try a playtrough without parasites to explore these new mods in better detail so you might come back to them and maybe even use them against the parasites in the future

bro i cant even play scape and run parasites with 30 mods without it running like shit how do you get 120 mods and have it run decently well whilst recording and in multiplayer
might want to remove Ice and Fire Dragons because the first dragon you saw was a tier 4/5 from Underground which 70% of the time is female and tend to be more difficult than males while also only being able to spawn underground (for an idea the dragons stages are 1-5, 1-4 can spawn on the surface 4's being relatively rare but 4-5 Will always be underground) and because of the Parasites AI where they just attack everything and the Dragons tend to do the same but targeting players more often and the spawning of parasites they spawn in the Dragon nest attack the dragon and the dragon wakes up and kills the parasite while simultaneously targeting the player on the surface
Throwing a bunch of mods into a pack without doing any research into them is never a good idea lol. Also, I feel like the dragons from Ice and Fire are programmed to only target specific mobs. I've found that if you have a tamed or summoned mob from Lycanite's Mobs attack a dragon, it won't do anything about it. Even a weak mb can solo a dragon because of this. This is why for my modpack (which has Lycanite's and Ice and Fire, but not SRP), I installed Rebirth of the Mobs and made dragons immune to mob damage >:).

Could potentially be the "Fast Render" setting in video options if you have optifine, it's known to conflict with certain mods

Yeah, do this again, this is great. Put phases back though - you didn't get to explore any of the mods, and you need the setup time.

Could you guys make the other mobs aggressive against the Parasites? That would probably help a lot
might want to remove Ice and Fire Dragons because the first dragon you saw was a tier 4/5 from Underground which 70% of the time is female and tend to be more difficult than males while also only being able to spawn underground (for an idea the dragons stages are 1-5, 1-4 can spawn on the surface 4's being relatively rare but 4-5 Will always be underground) and because of the Parasites AI where they just attack everything and the Dragons tend to do the same but targeting players more often and the spawning of parasites they spawn in the Dragon nest attack the dragon and the dragon wakes up and kills the parasite while simultaneously targeting the player on the surface
Throwing a bunch of mods into a pack without doing any research into them is never a good idea lol. Also, I feel like the dragons from Ice and Fire are programmed to only target specific mobs. I've found that if you have a tamed or summoned mob from Lycanite's Mobs attack a dragon, it won't do anything about it. Even a weak mb can solo a dragon because of this. This is why for my modpack (which has Lycanite's and Ice and Fire, but not SRP), I installed Rebirth of the Mobs and made dragons immune to mob damage >:).
