‘Human’ • ‘Individual Thought Patterns’ • ‘Symbolic’ are my favourite DEATH albums by far… largely due to Sean Reinert’s and Gene Hoglan’s contributions. R.I.P. Sean 🙏🏻🥁🤘🏻
100% agreed! If you are into drums you would mention these two guys for sure. Those who are into bass, like me, would mention Steve Di Giorgio who is absolute beast on bass. And then, Andy La Rocque and Paul Masvidal on guitar. Such combination couldn't fail. What I hate about "Human" album though, is that you can hardly hear any bass at all in the record due to shitty mixing.
@@uldisparstrauts Yeah, I’m a drummer and never stopped practicing those albums when they were released until I had the drum tracks nailed. Steve DiGiorgio was way ahead of his time and is still an incredible bassist today. He plays it like a lead guitar. Andy and Paul were killer guitarists. Edit : Relapse Records reissued HUMAN in 2011 (remixed and remastered). The production is better and Steve’s bass is more prominent. Steam it and tell me what you think man.
@@Virvum_Juggernaut I know that remix. Still not that thing that it should be. I think I will take my time and do a proper remix myself. :D P.S. Mad respect and congratulations for mastering Genes and Seans drum lines! It takes a lot of time and dedication! It's black belt in metal drumming! :)
@@uldisparstrauts Thanks brother! Took me many years, but I’ve been drumming for a solid 30yrs now. Pete Sandoval was my major drumming influence. I appreciate that and thought I was a decent tech-death metal drummer until I heard Darren Cesca on Nucleus by DEEDS OF FLESH. Try as I might, 2yrs later and I still can’t nail the title track … I must be getting old (although Darren holds a degree from Berklee College of Music and was mentored by Mike Mangini). Edit : I know what you mean. The reissue of HUMAN is still thin production. That album deserves better.
In my opinion because Chuck had a very forward vision for his time and the songs they composed needed talented drummers. His music opened the field for experimentation. R.I.P. Sean Reitnert 🔥🤘🥁
@@rocksamplerdrums3735 One thing I hear is he was kinda controlling as the main composer. But then I hear he let the dudes have freedom. Maybe its a mix of the 2. But starting with Human(reinart) the drumming was on another level. beautiful. Individual,Symbolic(gene),and perseverance.(richard) All had god tier drums. But something about that Human record still gets me ballistic. But yea Death always had the best drummers.
This is actually amazing, you should start doing more bands like Megadeth, Pantera etc and try doing the backing tracks for less popular songs because it's very hard to find them
Yes friend, I have a long list of songs from different bands, different styles. Between hits and not so well known. At the moment I am focused on the drum tracks, but I have other ideas in mind that I will carry out little by little. Thanks for the suggestion, I have it in mind, greetings 😁🤘🔥
@l.lazman4751 That groove is just insane, man. I think you'd have to watch Sean play the song too find out what he's doing with his hands. So tasteful.

Love this track so much... I knew it was not the easiest one, but would not know it was so complex...
It is a masterpiece 😬🤘
Why DEATH always have the best drummers?

@@awfpunisher definitely the best!! 😁🤘
Chuck had a high standard.. He wrote from a very rhythmic angle
@@awfpunisheryou forgot to put that the Drummer in SBG is the Vocalist and Drummer of Autopsy
Exactly what I was looking for thank you so much

Can't play on yt music,, pls change
Nowhere near Sean Reinert's playing, but a good alternative.
@@l.lazman4751 over 30 years and still discovering cool little things he played. Absolute genius.

20 second intro very unnecessary
Yeah, hate when they do this
😂😂😂
Lame interpretation, far away from the truth.... sorry.
I'm not Sean Reinert, it's just an emulation of how I understand he plays. So the criticism is valid. Enjoy!! 😬🤘
