While I also hate to promote my other things, it has become evident to me it is important to get a viewer base that will help me continue doing reviews like this (I can’t afford to always buy new equipment!).

Thanks! I lost the instructions and this video helped me a lot
I guess im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@@knoxbenjamin656 No, boomer.
I had issues with it peeling from the butt end after a couple games. I use tacki mac now and love it.
+AtotheK17 that sucks, so far I haven't seen anything bad and I've put over 300 shots in with this stick. Hopefully I won't have the same issue!
Thanks for sharing your experiences. It always good to have other opinions when thinking of gear.
AtotheK17 that is because you put it on wrong mine did the same you have to put it on the other part mire

It’s like the lizard skin for baseball when you want a butt end or taper you need to add it on over the grip I know it doesn’t look the best but it keeps it from doing that
I'm using lizard skins on a couple of my goalie sticks and a really I do not like them just bought the butt ends and I love it
I've installed this on my son's sticks several times over the years. The bottom seems to stick better using the electrical tape underneath.
Do other tapes work instead of electrical tape?
I would assume so, I would try and use something with similar characteristics though. For example I wouldn't use hockey tape.
I Know this is an old post l, but I used skin tape. It's basically electrical tape
Do you have to put on the electric tape or will it work without
It will work without

NoI didn’t pull it tight I just did what you said too do. I don’t know if I get the tape again I see if it does it again I will just. Great video by the way keep it up👍
Does this tape help gloves last longer? I just bought prostock Bauer 2s gloves that are arriving today. Thanks man!
Yes, Lizard Skins, Tacki-Mac, and ButtEndz all help gloves last longer!
@@HockeyReviews thanks for the advice
@@HockeyReviews also if you were to tape hockey tape like a swirl under and then a thin layer of hockey tape under it before putting lizard skin over it would that mold to it? I'm asking because I like when I have a swirl effect with tape that contorts to the shape of my fingers
@@treyb387 that is the benefit of Lizard Skins, you can put your normal tape under it, cover with Lizard Skins and you get the exact tape job but without the wear on your gloves
@DemonStudios6969 For what?
Maaan thanks great instructions 🏒
I have the same stick as you it s a great stick
Happy you enjoy it! Warrior is putting out good sticks lately.
Where the heck did you get EA sports NHL Slapshot stick tape?!?!?!
Eb Games had them when NHL slapshot came out haha. It doesn't stick to anything though.
Can I reuse the grip?
You should be able to, I haven't tried yet but as long as the tape holding it in place is new (the electrical tape) it should stay fine.
Why didnt you just put the grip on before taping the nob.Wouldn't that work better especially if you want a bigger one?
You put the tape on first so the grip covers the tape? You get the knob or ribs you want with the tape and cover it with the grip. Tape eats gloves where the grip doesn't.
@@HockeyReviews yea I know but if i want a big nob the grip tape isn't gonna go on it right. I'm only talking about the nob
@@cobrak1ngs the whole point of LizardSkins is to cover the tape, including the knob. The knob is what eats away at gloves the most. So if you tape over the grip tape for the knob you might as well not use LizardSkins...
@@HockeyReviews i use lizard skins for the grip. Why would the knob hurt the gloves the most? I put the skin Over all the rest of the tape too. It just fucks up the grip if I tape Over the knob I make with tape.
@@cobrak1ngs because the heel of your palm is what rubs and has the most friction and it is up against the knob...
with the tennis grip you started from the bottom and it didn't last so starting with the knob would be better.
Yeah, I screwed it up here
I think they cheated out on the length, a couple more inches down the shaft would be helpful. I put it on my daughter's stick as she got new gloves and previous products chewed up her previous gloves (she's on the ice 5-6x a week). I'll see if it lasts.
I see someone commented that you put it on wrong. Not a big deal. I don't know why they used that angle cut. How is that advantageous? Good to see your video though as their website is a bit weak on the hockey side. Did it stand up over time? Or roll down as you suspected?
It has worked very well so far. I have moved on from the stick that I put it on but that stick is being used twice a week by someone else and it has held up perfectly fine. I agree with length, but that is hard to get right since some people want them as short as possible and others have huge grips, a long and short version would be nice thought.
Thanks for watching! I'll be doing a full review in the future, just have a bunch of stuff to get caught up on.
Thanks for the info
it was done incorrectly as others have said. Tennis and field hockey grip have the same angles to start the grip. The reason for it is to give you the correct angle when you start your spiral downward. If you follow the angle and wrap perfectly parallel you should get more length as well as a flat smooth wrap with no or little overlay.
Warrior loves you
Just seems like too much extra work. Regular black or white tape works fine for me.
Thanks helped alot
Glad it was useful! Thanks for the comment.
Opps. I will just see if it does it again
Electrical tape doest really tear like hockey tape. Just saying.
Like this comment pls so I can come back to it plssssss
Wanna know how to install? Throw it out and get a buttendz grip.
Im only kidding.
Hey, I have a video for that too ;)
@@HockeyReviews ive used buttendz and I daw this pop in my feed. I had too.
My Buttendz was utter trash.....put it on exactly how you're supposed to and it split in about 10 places only after 10-15 games....wasn't worth it. FYI - Buttendz are like $25US on Amazon and Lizard SKin is like $13....
I live in Canada and they cost 18.99
Thanks man!
Update: 10 year old Tacki-mac sucked too. Took me an hour and a half with water, screwdrivers, a heat gun, needle nose plyers and a lot of anger. I think I gave myself a hernia i the process. Possibly sprained a ligament in my elbow and broken a toe, and I may have ruptured my spleen. But it’s on there now (same stick). Now I’m thinking it’s too short and I should’ve used the extension I bought and returned. 😤
When I taped my stick with this stuff I made a nob with the lizard skin
Hockey Reviews did you check out my review of it it's not as good as yours but I really wanted you to see it
I found it bubbled a lot
Thanks for the feedback, mine is still going strong with no bubbling, did you pull it really tight when you applied it?
You started the tape wrong lol
Looks like I did.
.
Ripples like crazy, I definitely regret this purchase.
It fits how YOU put it on... if it rippled you did something wrong...
