When my grandpa died I had no idea as a 6 year old how to deal with death. My way of shutting out was watching this movie constantly. The beginning had me bawling my eyes out when seeing Mufasas spirit. I realized that simba had lost someone he loved too. It was the only time I felt like something in my small world understood me. At 6 I was truly traumatized but this song gave me comfort when I couldn’t understand what I was going through.
. As the years pass I get more and more nostalgic for this movie. I didnt think it was as good as the first when i was a kid but now i love it so much.. Kovu is such a good kitty. Poor guy
Ikr Same I really love The Lion King 2 especially as Kovu is my all time #1 character he gave me inspiration for my own made up character Troy Lion I wanted to be a brother of his. Scar and Zira are my all time #1 villains so I had to make them my parents. My Troy Lion joined the good guys with Kovu. I don't want to be a full evil character.
@Baller4Now - Though, the way you say that, wouldn’t be surprised if it actually is referring to god (though I’m sure Americans, would say Jesus) it’s nice that Disney and the broadway show made us as kids n even nw as adults think it was referring to mufasa or any male figure you has moved on in YOUR life.
