What is that Samurai model. I really like it more than IH.And the fit looks better.
The Samurai are the 710 and come in different denim light to heavy. The IH need a soaking and sure they fit different 👍👍👍

I have the IH 666 25oz as well as SoSo 33oz. The 33oz feels indestructible yet rough. The 25oz feels tough but has broken in to be very soft. Samurai is next on the list!

Heaviest I had was IH 634S years ago; sadly, as a know nothing at the time (tiny bit more now) I bought them according to the tight fit that was en vogue then and eventually let them go for a song. These days my heaviest denim is 15oz.
You need to try again if you can; in fall and winter is my way to go 😉
@UrbanLadUK I’ve found that wool long underwear with whatever trousers or jeans I’m wearing is what’s critical for me, though a tighter weave makes a difference as well.

I had to pass on my 19oz Samurai jeans to my son. I just couldn't get on with the fit. I really liked the style and look of them on me. But, they were just to uncomfortable in the crotch, especially when sat.
Was a 710 fit?
