In this VladTV exclusive, Nick Cannon commented on a video of Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey singing in a car. Cannon said the video was spliced together and fake. He noted it wasn’t real and then began to tell a story about how Mariah Carey was upset at people calling Ariana Grande the new version of her.

It might’ve been her label using that as a gimmick to promote her BUT Ariana did copy a few of Mariah’s performances to a t. Maybe because she was a big fan, who knows, but it did seem like she was trying too hard to be like Mariah. If you don’t believe me then google Ariana’s rendition of “Oh Holy Night” it is the exact same rendition from Mariah’s Christmas albums. Again, not saying it was done with bad intentions but this may have upset Mariah. Mariah values individualism and creativity. This is the reason she’s always loved Kelly Clarkson because Kelly did her own thing since the beginning.
