Do you know how to install a button in replaceing a broken relay switch im assuming you connect a wire directly to the positive on the battery terminal and the other end of that wire connects to this button then i quess theres another wire that comes from the seleniod or somthing and then you take a piece of aluminum and make a bracket to hold this button and then screw this piece of aluminum on to your frame under/ beside your seat and you can start your bike in the off position as well im quessing it eliminates the push button selenoid buttun that you have it by passess everything its like a direct connection? Im no mechanic if u understand what im trying to expain
You could do it the way you describe (if I understand you right) but I wouldn't wire directly from the battery w/o some sort of fuse-able device such as a fuse, a circuit breaker or a fuse-able link. You are best off using the solenoid cover that has the push button, in my opinion.
