Thanks guys! Spectacular find. I would be interested in seeing if you find more about the history of these caves. Ron is entertaining to watch and listen to.
Family had massive acreage near Lowville NY since the 1880s, about 2000acres...Hand planted pine forests, a river, fresh ice cold springs, glorious hills and all! Last gen of uncles kids just divided it and sold all away, they all hated it.. Sad, Im watching your vid and the stones, the ground , the trees, the rock moss!!! Its all the same as I remember long ago! TY for showing! I can almost smell all the pines, hear the crunch underfoot and the breeze whisper through the branches.
I found these in the early 90's.The first time I checked them out I heard a low growl from one of the caves and got out of dodge lol. The hike looping around Folly and over the dam is a favorite, thats how I found it just followed a faint trail off the dam.. There's so much great stuff off trail in that area and around MT A.
@@josebro352 not even close. South of Mt Agamenticus There’s a dam between Folly pond and Middle pond. It’s off to the east of that a few hundred yards. Small trail leading to it from the dam. Hard to describe coming in the other way.
@@BcinNH Thank you so much for that info! My sister lives in York on Shore Rd and I visit her often. I'd love to explore these caves this summer and now I know how to get to them. Thanks for the names of the two ponds. Great video also. I really enjoyed it!!
@@josebro352 not my video, I just commented. If you are good with maps try to figure out on trails how to get there from the east. If you come in from the west you’d have to walk over the top of the dam or go over the stream below it. Be a longer trip too.
I am so glad you put this out there, now all that is needed is a parking lot and hiking trails so the woods can be ruined like My. Aggy. The porcupine, fox, bobcat, bear, and coyote can find new shelter.
@@lizzyb2732 There is a gate and a 2 mile hike in that deters most people. But if we take a look at the impact we have on nature in our private lives we realize we have shortcomings and animal displacement is something we all share.
Someone was There to many straight lines 4 million years ago. Star wars stuff. Yota.. I have been at lake arrow head since 66..vary special place. Look at the stars in August. The rocks in the ground are special. Black stones
I think they should contact a archeologist like the ones on because these rocks are squared off as if it was a resalt in stone work and they look like they were dumped in a big rock pile which is strange because there so huge. What could lift them even our technology today could not do that but they look constructed. Giorgio A. Tsoukalos is the best one to contact if anybody knows how.
Also should watch for porcupine quills. In a cave where porcupines live there will be stray quills on the ground. Don't put your hand down without looking first.
Love this video. I could almost picture what you three would a looked like exploring as kids. Thank you for taking the time to vlog this :)

Where exactly in York are they located? Are they near Long Sands Beach?

Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video. Love it
Thanks!
If you have a smart phone you have a flashlight. Ironic that old guys cannot get the flashlight to turn ON
Fascinating!
Ron keeps saying that he don't know, yet he keeps on giving his opinion.
In my opinion and many others he is a narcissist Asshole
All I know is I know nothing! Wisdom!
"hard telling not knowin"
Miss you and Laurie, Ronnie ❤
Born in York. Love the video.

What’s he want to “rake up”?
We always called it Middle pond cuz we didn't know betta 💙
That looked like a cannonball hole! Maybe a battle site between the Abenakis and the English.
maybe
Great find! But you don't need a rake, you want a Leaf blower 👍.
The law makers can kiss my arse. Just turn camera off.
"Theres more ron" lmao sorry hahaha that caught me off gaurd. Ron seems cool
Yeah the best part is when he put his hand In The do doo

Cool stuff
Looks like some good bouldering to be had, looks like sedimentary rocks at the start the rest looks like granite
Look at the bear near the top of that outcropping!!
That's Mount Aggy. Auto correct sucks
That's not a cave.

Come on... You didn't bring a light because you know it goes no place...
Fun
I take it back.
Goes to check out a cave....... doesn't bring a flashlight, and puts his hand in shit.... what a clown.

I would be afraid of the possible critters in there for sure
