370Z Nismo: Brutal Cold Start (AAM Midpipe+muffler delete+ART pipes)

Oldish vid.. Had just installed the resonated short tails, so they weren't properly aligned yet. But some folks have been asking for a cold start vid. Thankfully, my neighbors kids are already gone to school and they're off the work before I fire it up most mornings. So maybe they don't hate me.

Did you deal with the drone? I just have an muffler axle back with resonator deleted and the drone is horrid at 2-4krpm but sounds soo good. So I'm wondering if the drone don't bother you at all maybe installing one resonator lol.

I ordered a 2017 Red Nismo, can't wait. Getting AAM Short tails because of your vids lol. How come you didn't get the Nismo version of the short tails? They fill out the holes a bit better than the regular version.

I have a 2011 370z nismo with hfc, reso delete and the Nismo short tails. did you notice a difference with the midpipe?

Brandon B when I installed the AAM midpipe I noticed a difference in the volume of the sound and tone when driving

The AAM Midpipe has smaller resonators than the stock Midpipe and it's also bigger diameter. So it's deeper and more throaty but increases the volume significantly and adds a bit of rasp in the 3-3.3k RPM range. But with the added deepness, throatiness and the extra growl it sounds way more aggressive.

I have Berk test pipes, AAM midpipe, and short tails. mine is super loud. almost obnoxious. I like how deep it sounds but at high rpm around 4400rpm its way to raspy. almost sounds like a trumpet which I don't like. do you get the same sound? I'm trying to figure out if I need to go with MD Art pipes to or the resonated short tails. or even the AAM axel back. which to me from your other video sounds like a very amplified stock sound. which sounds nice.

How would you say this is for a daily driver set up? Absolutely loving the sound but I’m worried it might be just a touch too loud
