I don't think there's another reviewer that even comes close to the volume of products you've gone through. It's great to have such a wealth of information all on one place.
Great video love the chrome testing, Thank you very much for being soo thorough and honest with these tests it really really saves a ton of money and a heck of a lot of frustration. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE it's a HOBBY and it's SUPPOSE TO BE FUN
May I suggest applying a last coat, that is very 'wet'? I found that when using chrome, or any metallics for that matter, that if I only use 'dusting' coats, it turns out "dull". so, I started making my last coat as wet as I can, without allowing it to 'run' at all, and all the sheen and reflectiveness is as it should be.
Suffering for the education of others, you're a good man! I was a water well driller and pump mechanic for.over 20yrs, nothing cleaned my hands better then fast orange
Congratulations Thomas, your name was picked as the winner of the kit. This isn't a scam. Send me an email to let me know you got this reply. I'll also mention you as the winner in todays video
These videos are so much better than a small picture on a product listing. It's really helpful to see these tests from different angles and also to get your thoughts on how well they are applied. Thanks for all the work you're doing on this series!
I'm still using the Molotow chrome pens. I drain 'em into my airbrush, and found that if I put it on thick and wet, it comes out beautiful. If I don't put on enough of it, it turns out somewhat cloudy and not nearly as reflective. Thanks for all the effort you put into your testing, as I have enjoyed all of them I've seen !
Congratulations Cameron on the win. Looks like a it's going to be fun to build. Another great video Rex Nice review. I've been wanting to order and use Zero paints. Thanks for the link. My short story on Gravity USA. I placed an order with them at the beginning of the year. Never got order several months later. I emailed and no response. I bought thru PayPal and filed a complaint and then they sent me a tracking # but was never dropped for delivery. Finally went back to PayPal and got a refund.
Bad place. Should be shut down. Short story for you, my friends at Spray Gunner were going to buy them out, they wanted the company to make their own paint line. They meet at a hotel for a weekend and worked out an offer. They agreed on the sale of Gravity to Spray Gunner and shook hands. They got up in the morning and went to meet up and get the paperwork signed and guess what happened, the guy who owns Gravity packed his bags and left in the middle of the night and they never heard from him again. They said he was a bit off as a person. Looks like he should have sold because they're not shipping any products right now and personally I don't believe the reason they posted on the site. Bad company
100% agree. Im glad that I was able to a refund. Which is why I'm glad you posted a reliable place to get Zero Paints. I want to try it on my next car model. I've Splash but want to compare and decide on my new go to. Love the chrome reviews but I always go back to Alclad. Been looking to do my first Gunpla, open to any suggestions on the first one. Lol
I haven’t been following you that long. But I’m so glad I found your channel, on utube. I’ve learnt so much about airbrushes, paints, spray booths, and how to airbrush thank you so much great channel 👍👍👍🇬🇧
I love all these chrome tests so much. I have this idea of doing a kit in a bunch of different chromes and then painting over them and your videos are massively helpful for deciding what paints I want to try.
Very much looking forward to the jumpwind lineup. I see some interesting colors in that lineup shot that are already giving me ideas for color schemes lol.
Molotow and green stuff world have been my absolute favorite chrome for my gundams and Thank you for always testing as many as you can your videos have always been extremely helpful and have saved my tons of money on paints. I’m looking forward to seeing all those tools in action. Also the gundam the origin line is just amazing my favorites include the gm intercept custom and the gm guard custom.
Always look forward to your chrome and metallic videos. I'm a sucker for candies and love seeing the different tones you can get. Thanks for another vid, and I'm glad you test these chromes as I have seen them but never pulled the trigger.
I've found that using Alclad primer under their black enamel base helps it dry faster. I would think that Gravity would be the same. Give it try. Been using Alclad for years. Love the products.
I plan on eventually getting into airbrushing for gunpla, but for now I will stick to wet. I will definitely look into that compressor and your other vids when I do.
I'm glad the contest stuff was figured out, I had been messaged once.... Thats why is good to keep up with the channel to be in the know. Hit the bell people, and subscribe.
I'm so excited to see your review for the Kaizo Scribers/Chisels!! Been eyeballing them for a while now but haven't pulled the trigger on 'em. Thank you!
Don’t have time to watch all of it just yet, but I’m interested to see how these turn out. Heard very mixed things about gravity which is a shame. Also interested in the jumpwind’s
I’m so excited for you to do a E7 paint test !!! This whole week I’ve been trying to find anything test wise related to them but I couldn’t find ANY that cover more then just like 5 colors so hearing you say that made me so stoked !! Cause I really love their chameleon stuff but I want to see more so I can purchase a lot at once rather then just the 2 or 3 chameleons I liked
Your paint videos are always great and I’ve learn a lot from watching you! Definitely broadened my view on all the different paints, and how to properly use them for making customer Gunpla
Your videos are amazingly informative. I've been able to improve my airbrushing and find great products to make my gunpla building go so much smoother, not to mention all the paints you cover that I'd love to get my hands on someday.
Great video! It took me longer than I wanted to in order to get time to watch it, unfortunately. But your information doesn't age, thankfully. I never tire of watching you go through testing everything that comes across your bench. Thank you!
Great work as always. It's great to have a one stop shop to get a feel of what works and what to pass on when shopping for products. Thanks for the tips!
loved the compare on the paints great info as always. I do wish you had linked to an American dealer for the paints as I have not had great luck on getting some things from over seas as of late.
I wish that they would give us the later anime versions of designs such as Guncannon and Gouf, using the origin as the base kit. One thing that I'd love to see in your paint reviews is to do a quick recap and score of the paints or products used at the end of the video. And oh - a running score/update on the best chrome product that you recommend each year (since you're always testing a new product out)
Thank you for another helpful video. I would like to see you revisit the Mission Models chrome but using the method that Jon uses on the Mission Models youtubes on the chrome. I know it still won't be as nice as Alclad but I think it can be better than the results you had in the video some time ago.
Great paints! thanks for sharing. Tried the GreenStuff World metal chrome you recommended and I LOVE it, really nice finish, great price and service too.
Congratulations on the C.Miller! Also great review Rex, honestly I wasn't impressed by the results but have ever thought of making a chrome line with your mecha empire? Love your advice and can't wait to see the jumpwinds results. Thanks for all the knowledge and take care Rex
I always love watching your test videos - especially the chromes!! I make custom action figures mainly (going to start finishing my Gunpla kits too!) and I’ve been trying to see what the best chrome paint would be for custom Daft Punk figures that I plan on making!
Always enjoy your chrome tests and looking forward to part two tomorrow. Alclad seems to still be the standard, but the zero paints chrome turned out pretty good. What was the turnaround time for your orders from Europe for the Zero paints? Sounds like you were impressed with their level of service.
great video my airbrush stuff came in two days ago cant wait to start airbrushing thanks to your videos for showing me the steps on airbrushing ^_^ but i have a question where can you get a Airbrush Quick Release set ?
Gaianotes paints are now the unicorn of model paints. They are almost impossible to find. Really makes me appreciate these other brands now. However, I’ll always stand by my tried and true Mr.Color, Tamiya, and Alclad paints.
I don't think there's another reviewer that even comes close to the volume of products you've gone through. It's great to have such a wealth of information all on one place.

These videos are so much better than a small picture on a product listing. It's really helpful to see these tests from different angles and also to get your thoughts on how well they are applied. Thanks for all the work you're doing on this series!
I just ordered the Vallejo Model Air Metallic effects paint set that came with a chrome, silver, steel and 8 other metalics. Excited to try them out.
If you get results like I have with Vallejo, you'll love them!
Just started modeling again after 40 years and you have been a great help with your tips on paint and equipment. Keep the videos coming.

It’s great watching your testing. You’ve taught me so much with your insight and I look forward to your new videos every week!

Love seeing all the different color options available, never thought paints could seem so similar and turn out so different
I'll always be fascinated by how amazing all of these metal-like paints look when done properly.
Always look forward to your chrome and metallic videos. I'm a sucker for candies and love seeing the different tones you can get. Thanks for another vid, and I'm glad you test these chromes as I have seen them but never pulled the trigger.

Im customing epyon atm with zero paints gulf colors. I find it very expensive but damn ... they are very good. I love airbrushing them
Thanks for always making these testing videos of literally every brand. It always allows us to make more informed purchases!
Very informative as usual. I've learned so much from watching your videos. Your video on using cheap acrylic paints in particular has been invaluable
Thanks buddy 👍
Seriously this guy is great, frankly no one else would try so many paints. His dedication is impeccable.
I plan on eventually getting into airbrushing for gunpla, but for now I will stick to wet. I will definitely look into that compressor and your other vids when I do.
I've been looking in to some chrome paint. This really helps on trying to pick out the right one for what I need
Looking forward to brushes....have not found my perfect (or near perfect) brushes!!!
Thank you!
Great test. Can never go wrong with chrome and Metallic colors.
Can't wait to see the rest of the chrome tests. I agree on Gravity, shouldn't take a year to get paint.
That was with the former American distributor, that finally closed down. Ordering from Spain you will get your paints in two weeks as too late.
I just heard Alpha 6 mentioned for the first time the other day in a die cast car restoration video. This seems serendipitous.
Don’t have time to watch all of it just yet, but I’m interested to see how these turn out. Heard very mixed things about gravity which is a shame. Also interested in the jumpwind’s
what is the best chrome paint you can recommend to paint/spray over aluminum?
A Gouf from the Origin MSD will be great to add to my collection. Time to look at some new paints to one day try out.
I’m so excited for you to do a E7 paint test !!! As always, super thorough and informative!
Looking forward to the seeing your thoughts on the decals you mentioned.
So in-depth, still getting around to trying the sms chrome I bought on your recommendation! Just need to setup my bench after moving house
Your paint videos are always great and I’ve learn a lot from watching you! Definitely broadened my view on all the different paints, and how to properly use them for making customer Gunpla

Thanks for constantly reviewing different chrome paints for us
Great video! It took me longer than I wanted to in order to get time to watch it, unfortunately. But your information doesn't age, thankfully. I never tire of watching you go through testing everything that comes across your bench. Thank you!
Thanks Mike, look for another chrome test tonight 👍
looking forward to the jump wind paint line review.
yeeeaah idk about that gravity paint...I always enjoy the Chrome paints:) thank you!! glad your ac is back up n run-in:)
Great work as always. It's great to have a one stop shop to get a feel of what works and what to pass on when shopping for products. Thanks for the tips!
Love your videos....can't wait to see this. I just started modeling and you have been a great help..
Welcome to the Wonderful world of modeling.
The USA Gundam nippers are great and worth the price for what you pay. Top shelf!
loved the compare on the paints great info as always. I do wish you had linked to an American dealer for the paints as I have not had great luck on getting some things from over seas as of late.
Glad you worked out the kinks for your give always.
Great work, sucks you didn't get your full order, fortunately I haven't had that happen yet with other companies...fingers crossed!
That steel look isn’t bad for steel. The Merc chrome is real chrome in looks anyway. Hobbymio has some cool stuff. A cap with a brush is awesome.
I wish that they would give us the later anime versions of designs such as Guncannon and Gouf, using the origin as the base kit. The Gravity is spot on concerning the mclaren color!
Great video FYI about the US Gravity color the thinner will evaporate over time even if you never opened it.
With all the chrome out there and knowing some are very durable, you should do a test for all sealers for the chrome.
Awesome video. Ever think of doing a top coat test? There are so many out there that figuring out what to use is kind of tough.
Thank you for another helpful video. I would like to see you revisit the Mission Models chrome but using the method that Jon uses on the Mission Models youtubes on the chrome. I know it still won't be as nice as Alclad but I think it can be better than the results you had in the video some time ago.
I had zero idea that there were so many different chrome paints! You are the man for testing and showing us the results
I love your videos. I have learn so much from them. Every paint I get I look at your test videos to see if they are good. Keep it up.
I cant wait to see more big paint tests in the future!!
Great paints! thanks for sharing. Tried the GreenStuff World metal chrome you recommended and I LOVE it, really nice finish, great price and service too.
Green Stuff World Chrome is awesome, one of the best for sure 👍
Learned everything I know about chrome painting from your vids! Thanks a ton!
great review, I'm always impressed with how detailed these paint reviews are.
I love your honesty. Nice test, very insightful. Thanks for sharing. Happy days and model on! 😎🇨🇦
Love how the Zero Chrome came out. By far the best out of the bunch.
Another great one! Love the chrome videos. I'm always blown away by the number of paint choices out there. 👍🏻🤘🏻
Congratulations on the C.Miller! Also great review Rex, honestly I wasn't impressed by the results but have ever thought of making a chrome line with your mecha empire? Love your advice and can't wait to see the jumpwinds results. Thanks for all the knowledge and take care Rex
Nice review, as usual. Thanks! Much appreciated. And, following your lead, I've started collecting plastic spoons for testing!😃
I love watching your videos while building, thanks for investing you time to advancing the hobby
Always love a chrome test. Really looking forward to the Jumpwind tests, have been considering getting some off of Robot Kai.
I always love watching your test videos - especially the chromes!! I make custom action figures mainly (going to start finishing my Gunpla kits too!) and I’ve been trying to see what the best chrome paint would be for custom Daft Punk figures that I plan on making!
Great review Rex. Love your format. I always learn watching and you have really shortened my learning curve with the airbrush.
Painting chrome sure can be tricky but once you get a hang of it it's beautiful paint
I'm glad you are testing the chrome paints.
More coming soon
Always enjoy your chrome tests and looking forward to part two tomorrow. Alclad seems to still be the standard, but the zero paints chrome turned out pretty good. What was the turnaround time for your orders from Europe for the Zero paints? Sounds like you were impressed with their level of service.
Great review. Love all the products that you source for your videos. Looking forward to it all.
Always looking for new chromes. I'm addict d to chrome accents on inner frames
Thank you for all the awesome paint reviews. Your videos are a great help!
Always interested in the chrome tests! Thank you!
I’m glad you figured out the issues with the giveaways! I look forward to future ones
Another great, informative test. I always look forward to your videos. I'm really looking forward to the big test with the JumpWind stuff!
I definitely want to see those decals. You play Warhammer, and I suck at free hand. I’ll be waited by for that video.
I can't wait to see the paints from your other room. Especially the metal colors. I love my metallic paints.👍🤟
great video my airbrush stuff came in two days ago cant wait to start airbrushing thanks to your videos for showing me the steps on airbrushing ^_^ but i have a question where can you get a Airbrush Quick Release set ?

Found you recently, (Couple of months ago) and you’ve helped me massively in paint selection, Tools etc
Keep up the content
Hg the origin kits are the best in the hg lineup. Would love to build that cool gouf.
Always look forward to your videos. Thanks for testing and sharing.
As always love the paint videos, they are what got me addicted to your channel in the first place! Keep it up :)
Really loving the vids, very thorough looks at paints ive been hesitant to try
I had the same issues with Gravity (US). I had to keep on them to get what I ordered. They did send me a free bottle as an apology.
Gaianotes paints are now the unicorn of model paints. They are almost impossible to find. Really makes me appreciate these other brands now. However, I’ll always stand by my tried and true Mr.Color, Tamiya, and Alclad paints.
Congrats Cameron!!! Great Vid. BR...your vids are the most inforative on UA-cam...! Thanks again, cant wait to see whats next!!! Thanks sir!
Great video on chrome. I like the green stuff the best.
For the the gravity but even the zero...i just don't see a place for them in my paint rack. Thanks for saving us money with the review
wow I really like that zeropaints chrome! These videos are awesome especially since I'm just starting to dive into more metals, away from acrylics
Be on the look out for more chrome test this week
looking realy good i wish you had a art channels in discord
so people can show you there projects what they have done
You must truly love spray painting cause I could never do that much testing of paints.
