Tim Bradley was the ONLY one who called the fight right. Everyone else spoke so romantically of Canelo that it was almost sickening. And for those who gave an opinion while at the same time admitting that they have never seen Bivol fight is not only astonishing but an indictment as to their having a fanatical bias for Canelo.

What do you expect? The disease does not get better. It progresses and gets worse. Not anything you can do about it. None of the neurological diseases get better. They do not know what causes them, nor is there a cure for any of them. Although, there has been cases of several people with MS being electrocuted and cured of MS. There is an old unsolved mysteries segment of one of those women with MS being cured after being struck by lightening. Here is the crazy part, her update from after the show says her MS came back, then she was struck by lightening a second time and was cured again. Her name is Mary Clamser. Almost all the treatments for these diseases involve being shocked. They will usually implant some device in the person's body that sends and electric shock to the person's brain. Sometimes you find cures by accident. Sorta like when the mom had a son in a coma, and for some reason she put Advil in his IV, and realized it would wake him up fro his coma. So they would keep putting Advil in his IV to wake him up, then after the Advil wore off he would go back into a coma.

@@luistwo23s not a chance. Let's first just start with his steroids use. He sparred GGG years ago in big Bear he was so demoralized he said he couldn't hurt him and had to work on his power. I'd bet that were he started his steroids use. Just look at his body, let's not forget the lame excuse he eat tainted meat. Everyone in Mexico knows we're these places are And Canelo and his team would at well. The steroids use helped his train harder recover faster and increase power and stamina. His physical change is pretty apparent as well. I'll say because I was a Canelo fan and loved his skill movement and combinations that he didn't need to cheat. Because of this I can't get behind because his a coward. I think later in life he'll regret taking them as well because like lance Armstrong it will taint his legacy.
Canelo also ducked GGG even dropped a belt to avoid fighting him. He waited at least a year and a half until GGG physical skills and age slightly diminished his threat. He was older a bit slower. Then Canelo juiced up, got caught yet got a slap on the wrist. Hell his 4 month suspension didn't interfere with his fight schedule.
As for the 2nd fight Canelo came out strong and took 3 out of the first 5 rounds but like the first fight GGG started imposing his will and won the fight mostly off his jab. 7-5 GGG. 1st fight was more dominate 8-4 and that being being generous to Canelo.
There's a history with Canelo winning fights he actually lost. Lara dominated Canelo the whole fight and frustrated Canelo giving him a boxing lesson. Lara beat his worse than Floyd and GGG. Then Bivol hardened and Canelo not only lost but got beat up in the process. So much so for the first time in his career he was exhausted by the 12th and could barely keep his arms up.

Well, Canelo got schooled as the Money Man did and that's both of his losses. They were both prepared for Canelo's game plan and kinda school him on it.

Love Canelo. He's a legend, but Bivol just proved most of these fighters, trainers, and former champions wrong. That's why they say prove it in the ring.
Canelo is a hall of famer, but he ain't close to being a legend. He cheated and he ducked fighters. He also had controversial decisions in a few of his fights. Hell these judges damn near gave this fight against Bivol (who clearly won) a draw. Change one round and give it to Canelo, you got a draw. Legends don't have that kind of shyt on their resumes.

Unlike Canelos previous four opponents, Bivol has very good conditioning. Canelo didn’t really impress at 175 when he fought an ancient Kovalev who took the fight on four weeks notice. If bivol sticks to his game plan and keeps moving around, he will win. Will the judges let Canelo lose though? Probably not

Bivol knows how to fight well on the outside. As long as he keeps his distance and doesn't give Canelo opportunities to fight on the inside, he has a good chance of winning.
Canelo has been losing rounds to these long range boxers. They just need to make it out, and not get KO. Good chance with the judges.

Canelo has deceptive speed. He throws some at one speed and then something happens at another gear. He ha crushing power in both hands. Canelo has feints like I’ve not seen and you think his punch is going to the body and it ends up a hook to the head. His defense is from the waist which leaves him in a position to counter. In several fights I’ve had Canelo losing the first four rounds - he’s patient and then he moves in and takes over. Bivol is quick, accurate and has skills. My observation is he pulls straight out and tries to catch you coming in. In fights I’ve seen, he does almost no body work. The question to be answered is his punching power. He will have to make Canelo respect his power otherwise it’s a long night. The other question about Bivol is how he takes Canelo’s power, especially to the body. Canelo is a classic Mexican body puncher and gets incredible leverage on his punches. It’s boxing and anything can happen but my money is on Canelo.
What happened tonight ?
He never demostrated that power against risky opponents and well prepare fighters. Remember he had to put a rehydratation clause to beat Kovalev. He's a fraud.

Canelo looks off a punch better than any one, a lost art. also: check the neck size on Canelo compared to Bivol who doesn't look like he does an extra helping of neck exercising. Not saying it can't happen, but these are considerations. For me the big tip off will be if and how much Bivol can actually move Canelo when his 1-2 hits Canelo's high guard. If he can't physically jar Canelo back hitting his guard he could be in trouble.

That’s possibly true. But I’ll withhold my judgment on that for now. Based on the fights I’ve seen with Benavidez, I don’t think he’s shown enough to be a tougher fight for Canelo than Bivol.
But it could be that he just hasn’t been challenged enough to show what he’s really capable of yet. It seems like everyone he’s trained with and sparred with thinks he has a good chance against Canelo. He might, but I’ll need to see more from him before I come to that conclusion myself.
It’s always possible that he could be the kind of fighter who doesn’t perform well on fight night. Billy Dib, Jean Pascal, and Ishe Smith were all highly touted by their training partners, but they never really looked special on fight night. It’s possible that Benavidez would be the same.

Not sure why Bivol is totally overlooked. I believe Bivol is better than Plant, Saunders, Smith or Kovalev. Canelo had many many tough rounds against these fighters. In fact, It was 50-50 with Saunders and Kovelev until the knockouts. Bivol is in his prime, he's fast, got very good jab, is big and long, and if he's a good notch better than Canelo's previous opponents, he does have a chance. If Bivol can do what Kovelev did and doesn't run out of gas, he will have the chance.
We don't actually know much about Bivol's chin. If it holds, and he can establish his jab, I give Bivol a shot.
