I`ve been living in Edmonton since 1955. We lived in a PMQ at Griesbach army base until the spring of 1964 when we moved to my parent`s house in Jasper Place. I saw a few concerts in the old Edmonton Gardens including Three Dog Night,Rod Stewart & The Faces, Savoy Brown,Deep Purple and The Guess Who.
As a kid I used to "assist an old family friend known to us as Uncle Grant set up his booth at the ex. He owned Home Appliances and always had a booth showing the latest in appliances. This clip brings back many memories
Why did Cine deface the video with the Cine mark...stupid. They could have taken the credit for this film more subtly at the end in the film credit without negatively labeling this historical film.
@@wntjst they have a huge library non-water marked. the ones that are water marked are so people like you don't steal them. if you want some un marked get hold of them. Some of that stock I and my brothers shot. If it is used for good project it may be transferred to digital at a low cost.
Nice to see a bit of Edmonton history but not impressed with the giant watermark placed on the video. Kind of ironic that an A/V company would disfigure their product in such a manner.

Hey thanks Cine for the small peek in to your vast library. Takes lots of time to do this.

The Talker on the Bally of the Gig Show is none other than Tony Paradise...the guy know for having 1000+ wardrobes!
It's funny what they considered a dream home in 1958.
Man those were real scary rides in those day's.
Look at the bally shot of the Harlem to Havana girl show. There is a kid guessing age and weight.
They took this from you.
