I love the "scars" left behind. You can practically tell the history of this game by where the darker regions are and the paths that shots carved through the map.
I love how the other marbles would bounce off the Death Star as if it was a solid wall. Also, while the Death Star was great, much like in Star Wars, without the support from an uncontested production line churning out other armaments it probably wouldn't have won.
When red was about to die… *they summoned the M O O N* impossible to destroy, moves through land like air, and massive. The gates of hell opened on their enemies…
i love how near to the end the other red shots were like "KEEP THE BEAST DOWN ITS TRAJECORY IS PERFECT!!" and just nailed the one shot so it stayed along the bottom to eliminate blue XD
i like how there's a little speck of yellow near the middle at the bottom edge of the grid that survives everything up until 15:27, it lasted longer than green
A month or so late, but that could be countered by a sudden death esq system, which amplifies all parties on the field until one just eventually gets lucky enough to screen wipe within seconds
Fun fact: look at scull kid and he usually runs off except on the 3rd day where his head just twitches like a clock and he doesn't run and then right before the moon crashes and the thing he was standing on moves it goes through him as he goes into special animation of him holding up his hands trying to put the moon down faster Edit: you can only see the running away and head twitching part through the telescope btw
I'm not finished yet, I just wanted to hop down in the comments and appreciate that first Death Ball. It's been active for a while and I'm enjoying watching the remaining contenders play Hot Potato with it. Edited for the spoiler below. I've never seen both the first and last opponent be taken out by the same shot, but there ya go. Mini deathball in between the two kills for a sweep. Nice round.

That's a really neat concept! Now when that one big shot comes, the game can still go on and the other colors get a chance to fight back. But in here, the shared marble boxes may affect the game. [Spoilers] After yellow was eliminated, red no longer had to deal with another color going against its flow and could move more freely. That may have given it a bit of an advantage. (Idk if it's big enough to matter, but it's something) Still, this was super cool to watch!
@@blondechimera5275 honestly you could have expected this, around 90% of all games follow the same pattern: there are 4 colours one of them dies, now two colours have one less colour to worry about while the 3rd still hasnt been affected, with this the two colours take out the one in between them, this leaves 2 colours in the opposite corners of each other, then one of them wins.
the real problem is that the launch rails were wildly imbalanced. Green's had a very straight shot to its multiply where as blue was basically incapable of hitting its own.
i love how every top three player had a really close call ealry on this game couldve been like five minutes long and i love the pingpong of the big ball
I find it hilarious that despite red having eliminated yellow and having a 4000 shot on the field, blue and green sent just about every one of their big shots at each other, it's like they knew red had won the game and they were fighting for second place.
It's like in Risk when one player is clearly ahead, and instead of doing the logical thing of teaming up against them, the other players just fight for scraps
I liked the shots, that could eliminate players if they had 1 point more/1 degree more/less (5:226:216:287:40) Also i liked how they used the red's 4k ball to attack (6:289:33)
wow, the physics you incorporated into this simulation really made things more interesting and intense, there were multiple times where a player could've been eliminated were it not for a ball conveniently pointed and fired at a even bigger ball, great and entertaining video as always! P.S. the moments from 13:17 onwards was butt-clenching holy shit
The struggle of green and blue was like watching a power struggle in those ps2 era dragon ball games that you had to mash the buttons as quick as possible to redirect the attack

too bad that once red didn't have to fight yellows marbles for good flow it wasn't a very fair fight. Interesting concept though. Would be nice to see one with either all colors on their own flow board or all colors sharing one flow board.
Thanks! In a future video I have implemented an upgrades track, which has multiplier bonuses. Having it increase over time for all players is also a good idea - I'll try that!
I saw enough Algodoo videos to know that 1) If some color pushes at start, it will 100% lose, and 2) Yellow never wins so when i saw Green 256, my next thought was "Blue or Red?"
@@lostmarbles2d heh, i mean gaining an advantage in first few minutes, when Green got first 128 and first 256 you can not really say other colors did comeback, because even 256 is not enough for win, but you can still say Green pushed in early game with those big numbers (if you compare to others)

But even if you are now ahead with a large ball like that, if it takes too long to hit your opponent they always have a chance to snipe you with a 64 ball. It can stay intense until the last second :)

That's the idea, glad you noticed! I had to fight a bit with the maths to make it work well, but overall I'm happy with the result :)
You can even see the moment where red almost self-destructed after creating the 4096 ball, that one scar with a right turn

Maybe there needs to be a comeback mechanic that a player can respawn if one of their blocks survives for long enough...

Is it completely random and unpredictable? Yes. Do I feel cheated because my color lost? Absolutely
blue almost died so many times but hit reds ball hard enough so it would miss
like how blue seemed to always lose but it was the one to withstand red's massive force + the others until the end
