I was lucky to score panthera supreme :) they are all sold out now. Mine had some issues like bad frets and pickups soldered wrong, but for that price is still a no brainer. Also one straplock was missing, so I contacted thomann and they refunded me 12€ so finally I paid 330€ for guitar with sh1/sh4 pickups :D Crazy!
Yeah, at this price they're amazing. What do you mean the pickups were soldered wrong, if I may ask? 🙂
@@thegaindane coil split cable was soldered as ground, and output measured half than nominal. Two frets were not properly fitted and nut was too high. If I would pay 900€ I would probably return it, but for 330€ it’s a steal even with those issues.
I ordered exactly the same guitar last week and it will be with me tomorrow, yay! At first I was like - am I not seeing right or is this an amazing deal? I even posted a thread on reddit about these guitars. And last week they started to disappear - first the Philx X SGs, then the Diablo guitars and finally the Idolmakers. So excited to try this tomorrow.
Have you checked the frets yet, do they need leveling?
This is an EPIC deal for sure. Everything is so nice about this guitar. Only thing that doesn't meet my expectations, are the small pots... But they work fine. I will replace them with some Goldo full size pots and a Orange Drop 47nF 100V cap I have in my stash a bit later though 🙂... Frerts doesn't need leveling 👍
Yeah, I noticed they started to disappear on the Thomann page shortly after I ordered mine 😅 I'm glad I got one.

Yeah, this was a bargain for sure. It feels so nice... The ebony fretboard feels really nice and have nice rounded edges 🙂

Unfortunately something strange happened with my Idolmaker and Thomann did a stupid mistake. I paid for the Syemour Duncan one, but received the cheaper version with the Framus own pickups. Clearly written on the box. On the guitar tag however it says the guitar is equipped with SD pickups and they are clearly not. But as a whole it feels a bit cheaply made and it corresponds with the price. I would've returned it anyway. Well, sticking to my LTD EC1000 with evertune.
I think you should probably check the pickups, because it was the same with mine. Framus 100/400 on the box, but Seymour Duncans on the hangtag. I checked the pickups while restringing it, and it has SD pickups in it. It doesn't say on the front of the pickups though.
@@thegaindane Damn, I didn’t think about that. It’s still waiting for pick up, I’ll tell them to come tomorrow. But the frets doesn’t look too good either - kinda yellow and not polished at all. Thanks for the hint! I’ll check the pups right away.
@@thegaindane Also on all models I looked there was Seymour Duncan written on the pickup covers. Strange…Also the back plate for the electronics on mine is crooked and not closing well, looks like this guitar is used or flimsily made in the factory.
Yeah, I polished the frets a little while I was restringing as well. I think it's a great guitar for the €399 price 🤘
Yes, I noticed mine doesn't have Seymour Duncan written on them as well, that's why I unscrewed both pickups while restringing it, and they have Seymour Duncan stamped on the bottom, and the right stickers as well.
