My instrumental version of the theme from the 1977 film "Bilitis". The theme was composed by Francis Lai. This version is based on the arrangement by The Shadows which appeared on their 1990 album "Reflection" I played this using my Squier 40th. A warning to you guys that is considering buying a JS32T king V, the head is heavy (it hangs). You can stabalize it by leaning one of the vings against a leg while standing or having the right arm on the ving. But as i play, i cannot always have the right arm on the ving. Still a cool guitar, nice look and i like the electronics. But it do has bad tuners so i switched them out.

The guitar looks very nice! Gear4Music packaging sucks! Yesterday I got a new guitar from them packaged just the same as yours. But the day before I got a guitar case from them that was packaged very good. Much better than the guitar. About a year ago I ordered another case and a clip-on tuner from them. The box was almost open because they used so little tape when packaging it. I could see what was in the package without having to open it. And the tuner was taped on the OUTSIDE of the box. I said back then that I would never order anything from them again. But this week they released the new Spira guitars and I just had to have one. I ordered the Spira T-400 MBK in Satin Black. Amazing guitar, but poorly packaged. The guitar was luckily fine. No dents or any other kind of damage. I was lucky.
@@Skullskalle You definitely haven’t been too lucky with the packaging from G4M. I have had two other guitars from them that was shipped from Sweden, they were packed well as box in a box. This is the first time I have had one sent in only one box, and it was from Spain. Where do you live, and where have your orders been shipped from? The new Spira guitars does look very nice 🤘
@@thegaindane I'm from Sweden. My guitar shipped from Spain. But I have had packages from G4M shipped from within Sweden and they had been packed very bad as well. So it is not only the Spanish G4M that pack bad. I am not 100% sure but I think that time they taped the tuner on the outside of the box was from Sweden. Yes. The Spira Tele is actually one of the best guitars I have had. It has everything from the factory. Locking tuners, graphite nut etc. And the pickups sounds great to.

I’ve got the same guitar , I love it , it plays great , sounds great , looks great , and stays in tune. I did put a black tailpiece on mine but other than that it’s stock , needs nothing modified. And it’s such a versatile guitar too , you can a lot of ground with an SG and for some reason I think they sound better than a Les P …, just my opinion
How is fret access on this for frets 17 to 22? Does the bolt on make it difficult to play? Especially standing position
Well, it's not easy... But better than the fret access on a Les Paul.

I have one for 3 years already, plays great. Was looking to buy another one to have 2 guitars in E-std and Eb-std tuning, but noticed the DFB is no longer available at Thomann. No idea why? Might get me a PAF variant, a bit of a different look too.
@@nightwish.covers Yeah, the finishes come and go on HB guitars, The PAF looks great too with the zebra pickups.
Does this have the measurements of a fender body.

I like it Carsten. You've definitely got the tone sorted and I'm sure you'll banish the small mistakes with a bit more practice 🙂
Doesn't sound too bad at all. You might want to hold some of the notes longer (sounds like you're lifting your fingers too early almost like you're "rushing to get to the next note, and this makes you sound like you're unsure and hesitant) You might also consider playing "up the neck" where you will find notes easier to reach. Theme For Young Lovers is one of the easiest Shadows' tunes to play. Good luck, and remember the three Ps...PRACTISE PRACTISE PRACTISE
