That depends. Only give otp to authorized. For example delivery guys or even taxi apps and gas delivery need otp to be shared

Good message. But I totally disagree with the ending. Never reveal the hacker that you know the scam. Just pretend to be like you trust him and inform the police.
My mom is so aware of the OTP that she don't even type OTP number where it's needed 😑

I too got an call few days back . The person said that they are calling from some bank and asked to tell the OTP . Basic cyber safety rule is never share your OTP . So i simply cut the call . Beware of these kind of scammers

This is a good video but I must say the scamsters are not innocents in every case so rather than challenging them just go for any cyber complaints or FIRs directly .

Yes we too have experienced this situation. We got msgs like this only. But luckily the person whose watsapp is hacked have called us and informed before itself. So we did not get trapped in this. Guys Be aware of this false msgs. Whose watsapp is hacked The persons name will be there in the about place and his or her photo will be there in the dp(display picture) . The thing that no body can doubt them. 🙏

As s general rule, never share OTP, CVV with anyone (even if someone claims to be Bank employee 'or' Government authority).
OTP is "One Time Password" and passwords are not to be shared with anyone.

This happened to me recently, they posed as a customer care number and made me install an app which had permissions to see my messages! They accessed my credit card number and OTP and made a transaction of ₹50000..such scams exist please be aware and safe
