Sadly, police in India doesn't really patrol the same way; as shown here... In fact, they often don't arrive @ the crime scene, even after hours of occurence of a crime. And this has lead the criminals to carry out their vicious activities even more fearlessly...

Why did the police leave the goons. They were supposed to be in jail. It means now they will not come to this area and they will do terrorism in other area. They were misbehaving with a girl. It should be shown that they are sent to jail. It should also show that the good things are getting to only the boy as other people were just watching the situation, they didn't do anything until the boy did something.
