sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Damon Anders i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Holy cramolli! That beautiful tanzanite is $53,000!!!! I'll take two ha ha!!! By the way, I'm loving the knowledge!!!!! Omy gosh the fun you guys must have traveling to get these!!!!
Today's word is "parure," which means "a set of jewels intended to be worn together." The colour of trillion cut tanzanite rivals that of blue sapphire--so beautiful!
Parure is the traditional term for a full suite. Less than 3 matched pieces is a demi parure. Natalie is actually wearing a demi parure en suite which means a partial matched set worn together.
This was exceedingly informative and fascinating, looking forward to watching part 2 later! Thank you for coming on the show and sharing your knowledge Mr. Matthews! I also want to say I liked when you used the flashlight on the emerald - sometimes the studio lighting can make the colors of the stones seem very different from how they actually are in the "closer look" part of the video, and I liked being able to see the different lighting coloring as you were handling it :)
Fun fact to know...the area known as 'Merelani' - from where Tanzanite is sourced - is a misnomer...the actual place is named *Mererani!* I loved this conversation...as I am an avid gem collector...thank you. 💗💗💗
I love this! The tanzanite is gorgeous! I have a dog tooth shaped tanzanite necklace that I adore. Please do a video on different crystal shape formations/identification, a video that explains which metals typically give crystals their coloration, and a video explaining different type of inclusions and which stones will typically have a specific type of inclusions
@JTV Still one of favourite episodes as I'm from and live in Queensland, that boulder opal is insane🤯 defently carnt find many like that any more but Koroit boulder opal and Yowah nuts boulder opal. There patterns are just artwork in themselves. Thank you nat and Mr Matthews for sharing these beautiful stones. I carnt wait to start my GAA course this weekend😁
Why do people in the U.S.A. keep making the mistake of saying that Brazilians are Spanish? No, they don't speak Spanish, they speak Portuguese, and people in Latin America aren't Spanish, we are Latinos. Moving on, that Tanzanite is the real deal, one of a kind, and those mandarin garnets look like happiness.
Yes, fire opal is the name for a variety of opal that is yellowish to reddish. Its more notable sources are Brazil, Guatemala, and Mexico. Boulder opal is mined in Queensland, Australia, and is a form of opal that consists of ironstone or sandstone matrix interlaced with precious opal.
Thank you Mr Matthews was a great watch and have now subscribed. I'm a opal man myself and how can I not be when there's so much here. Question are you a fan of koroit opal or yowah not opal patterns?
Thanks for watching! I, too, love opals - yowah nut, boulder, Ethiopian, you name it! I do enjoy the patterns on opals in matrix because they can display such vivid and interesting images. To me, they often resemble maps or scenes of rivers flowing through land. But, my favorite part about opals overall is that every gem is incredibly unique. So, whether it is the pattern, play of color, or shape, you can be confident that your stone is one-of-a-kind.
@@gems thank you natalie for presenting the show and thanks to jtv for doing the show as I love learning more and more about gemstones and seeing wicked specimens. I would love to hear this guy speak more about his gems, he is obviously well versed in their field and very educated. I feel like he was being rushed a bit and I mean that With all due respect, I wish she wouldn't have interrupted him in the beginning. I would have liked to hear more about what he was going to say. About the stones. When they know how hard it can be, to mine these precious stones. Most people have a healthy respect when a gemoligist geologist, get involved with the mines and digging. It really shows just shows their dedication and the know how when it comes to their trade. It's so much more than just digging a hole in the ground. It's hard work and one of the most dangerous jobs out there. They risk their own lives just to get paid. It's how they put food on their tables, so it can be nerve racking to run an operation that can be so dangerous.
🎉 you are still a great person to ride on the SunRunner with . I didn't recognize you at first! A little about me. I don't get along with men.. I'm a good person, but I'm skittish. I'm sure of people in general
I would have been freaking out while handling these gems, afraid about what happens if I dropped one, and would have not even attempted it without a towel or something underneath my hands. Omg when she picked up that Trapiche and was only holding it up with thumb and forefinger. In front the boss no less omfg! 🤐
You spoke of inclusions. Is it not true that emeralds are known for their inclusions. The inclusions tell you where the emerald is from. Brazilian usually has black spots, Zambizian is lighter and Siberian is almost light grass green. They are all beautiful. I call brownish diamonds champagne diamonds.
@@dayangmarikit6860 This is true, but I have some chocolate diamonds that put champagne diamonds to shame. Champagne should be lighter but some people consider any brown diamond as chocolate.
I would have called this a demi- parure not a true suite as there is no brooch, ring and bracelet. A demi parure is a partial suite. A parure is a full complement of jewelry to wear en suite. I guess times and therefore the way terms are used, has changed.
Why do you talk over the top of people when they talk, so rude. He was trying to tell us about how the Boulder opal came out of a family collection but no you had to cut him off so now we will never know . I wish they would get a new presenter , it would be so much better.

Could not say it better myself. Fire Opal is Valcanic and can be cut into gemstones vs Sedimentary that would make a better cab.
