so many iconic shots in his career. one of my favorites is the one Cinefix has featured ones, the shot in Godfather part 2 were Pete Clemenza preparing to shoot the cop knocking on the door. master of cinema

Megalopolis was so baffling, so ridiculouslly awful that only a genious could have made it. Reminded me of his rant about filmmakers being scared of being pretentious. If you dare to swing big you might miss horribly. Most don't even dare, or never have the opportunity to try. Certainly not with 120 million dollars
He's working with no stakes. If the movie fails, he loses nothing since he's already a successful filmmaker. If you're not hungry for success you devolve into self-indulgent nonsense.
You didn't see it. You wrote this 13hrs ago.(currently I'm 10:10pm est) and the movie released at noon today, in previews not wide release. So no, you didn't see it.
@penguin44ca false. I watched it twice yesterday and there have been special screenings all week. The movie is very rich and, like gourmet food, will not be to everyone's liking. Personally, I am in love with this movie and so are many others.
Love that Francis still wears his wedding ring. RIP Eleanor. 💔

So many to choose from Apocalypse Now...
Between the movie itself and this press campaign, I feel like a kid in a candy store.
a true master, I hope to get the chance to see Megalopolis
Just got finished watching it. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME it’s really bad.
@@evancampbell9763I ❤️ loved it.
Save your money and time. It's terrible...
Is bad Really, Why can you tell me without spoilers pls
@@dejabu24 I loved it.
This was great! Still waiting for a “What’s the Difference” series entry comparing the movie to Mario Puzo’s book
This video is the best thing to come out of Coppola choosing to make Megalopolis.
Megalopolis is ahead of its time. I predict that it will be hailed as a masterpiece of big budget artistry in 20 years.
Godfather Part 2 is the Greatest Movie of all time!!!🔥
Part I > II
francis didn't understad the assignment lol
He did. He just did a lot of set up/discussion before he got to them.

Megalopolis the greatest movie in history
Yes indeed
It might be my favorite, but as Francis has been saying, art is not a competition.
Strong competition in Morbius, though.
Gonzalez Steven Rodriguez Michelle Lee Scott
Does he understand the assignment?
IGN: What is your favorite shot from these movies?
Coppola: Let me exhaustively explain each movie like you're in grade school...
How 'bout those shots where he harasses his female extras during shooting?
we got a badass over here. gtfo.
Take a hike.
You mean the extras that said that never happened and are now suing for people taking videos of them on a closed set? 😂
@@R1ck_Ryder I'm not privy to all that. Possibly.
That certainly was creepy behaviour but let’s not make it into something it’s not.
