Yet again, removing spikes and hooks. Well done. Just saved an injury…again. I was out last weekend, found a Camaro, Batmobile, Mazda and 78 cents in modern coin. Loved every minute of it.
I really like your channel and your hunts, Gin. So many others don't show the junk finds when we all are finding them. I love the places you go to as well. Also you're the prettiest detector on YT. ;D I wonder why they don't let you MD at the parks. As long as you don't tear up the sod and ground it should be ok.
Hi Lucky!! The depth post behind you said the water level was low, which is a good thing. Congrats on finding the ring, Yes!!! A really nice and clean park. Can't believe it rained on ya. Oh, and I spotted 3 four leaf clovers. Keep the videos coming, Lucky!!!
Ha, that looks like my hunts. Lol. I find more nails and pull tabs than there are grains of sand at the beach.! Lol. Still, it's fun. Thanks for the show.
@@LuckyGin Out west? I know you like to search for "jackpots". You should come out here to South Dakota and visit Deadwood. You might even find some Black Hills gold.
Mostly a three-leaf clover guy, some luck, but not the full blown luck of a four leaf. Thanks for the hunt Gin. Went out myself yesterday and rounded up about 4 bucks in taco money, among other odds and ends. See ya next time!
Great place. Seems the authorities would want the pull tabs and other scrap removed……however they are here to rule, and control ! 😤Where are all the boats….a pin pointer seems to be a must have. The ring looked interesting. Thanks
Don't throw away the metal you recover. Get several 5 gallon pails from the hardware store. Put your aluminum (pull tabs, cans, etc...) in one, steel in another, lead (fishing weights and sinkers) in another, and copper in another. There is real scrap value in that trash. Don't waste it. Once you get a full bucket, take it to your local scrap metal place. As of 5-6-22, the spot price for these grades of scrap is: Aluminum is $1.29 a pound Copper $4.26 a pound Lead $1.02 a pound Steel $18.26 per 100 pounds Scrap dealers typically pay below the spot price, they need to make a profit too. But it's still good money.
Pretty nice looking beaches Gin. And a ring is a ring is a ring lol. Always nice finding rings. Have you ever considered getting hip waiters and going in the water ? I’m sure if people are swimming there, they are losing stuff in the water. My Dad and I find quite a bit in water anywheres from a foot deep up to our waist. Keep up the great work and videos. I saw 3 four leaf clovers 🍀👍
The problem is that you aren’t allowed to dig in the water. You can dive and if you see something modern on the surface then you can collect it, but otherwise no disturbing of sediment in the water. It’s really unfortunate and frustrating because I’m sure the rings are just a few more ft out from the shore.
Oh ok, I did not realize that. I’ll guarantee there are rings, bracelets, phones, etc in the water. We find very much here. But all states have different rules. In CT there are some beaches you can go as far out in the water as you want, but can not go up beyond the high tide line in the sand. Some places allow unlimited detecting as long as you fill in the holes.
Gin you are the pull tab queen so with that I think I’ll pop a top and enjoy the rest of the video lol. Just kidding gotta dig the trash to find the treasure. Take care.
Haha, you know Practical Ken always tells me you have to dig the pull tabs to build up Karma for the gold. At this point, I am due a whopper of a gold find!🤣😂🤣🍀
,Hi Gin!!! Wooo hoo sweet ring 💍.. 😁 always a nice addition to the collection! so... I was trying to count all those four leaf clovers at the end.... I kind of got dizzy, it's okay LoL🤣😆😂 🍀 but the best clover I seen was holding a metal detector 😏. Can't wait to see you next adventure! Can you detect in those lakes?
Awww, thanks my friend. Even though that ring was copper, it may end up being a cool antique. I’m hoping to find out more about it.🙂. The problem with the lake is that they only place you are permitted to dig is the sandy area I was in. So even if you detected something awesome elsewhere, you can’t dig it.🙈
Beautiful beaches and weather, so glad you were rewarded with the ring find! Perhaps the little butterfly following you from beach to beach helped bring you luck
you make metal detecting look so fun and relaxing. also would you do a how to video on metal detecting. keep up the awesome videos. your videos are a great way to unwind form a hard days work.
Hi Ms. Lucky Gin! I'm looking at the Nokta Score detectors and was wondering if you ever used one. I do most of my hunting around middle TN in both urban and rural settings.
That copper ring appears to be pretty old! Hmmm! Very odd! Love the video! Happy hunting till next time! We need to link up and collaborate and make a video!?

I once found a old ring very similar to yours. It was copper with some enamel motif. Apparently 2 to 3 hundred years ago people would ware them as mourning rings to remind them of some loved one who had passed away. Loved the lakes , keep going Gin
Thank you for sharing this, Dan. I thought it might be antique since it seems unlikely that anyone would buy and engrave a copper ring these days. I was really hoping maybe somebody would have seen something like it before and provide some insight. 🙂🍀💖

Awesome seeing you back on our local beaches, weather here still can’t make up its mind if it’s winter or summer. Love the old ring I actually found an old silver one a few days ago up on north end of one of your lakes :). I’ll send you a pic on fb.
Cutie Gin, don´t you get tired of scooping so much sand? In sand I simply use a pinpointer and small plastic scoop/knife. I guess it´s a good workout though.
I much prefer using my pinpointer whenever I can, but oh the comments I get when I do. There’s a whole genre of beach detectorists out there that think there is only one way of doing something and it absolutely must involve the sand scoop. Lol

Nice video Gin.
Thanks so much my friend. Nice to see you stop by!🙂🍀
You had to work hard for those treasures. That ring was a winner winner! You had a better day than that person with the bass boat!

Your videos are very honest , you don't always find pots of gold ! Thankyou very much from England , and hey ... You are looking good Girrll !
Well thank you, and I appreciate you popping by today. I’m going to find that pot of gold someday, just have to dig enough holes.🤩🍀😉
