I'm so enjoying the Season Four teasers! I keep pointing at the screen like the DiCaprio meme going "I lived there!". All the old 60's and 70's trailers (mobile homes) are punching me right in the childhood. 😁
@OldGodsofAppalachia "Old gods" though? Also your logo is pretty much a silhouette of Cthulhu. Would you at least grant that it is inspired by the works of Lovecraft?
@@williammccallum4760 Contracted with whom? This is an independent podcast. We write what we want. We don’t use any of Lovecraft’s monsters (nor are we huge racists) so “Lovecraftian” is not a label we claim.
@@OldGodsofAppalachia I'm not trying to start an argument on the internet. It's just wild to me that you don't seem to understand the ridiculously wide reaching impact that Lovecraft had on fiction. Specifically wierd fiction. I understand that he was a "huge racist", however all of the themes you use; the descriptions of the setting, and yes even the monsters are very reminiscent of Lovecraft and his works. In spite of his behavior, and whether you acknowledge it or not, all of wierd fiction (a genre in which you make your money) was built on the back of Lovecraft. The term "Old Gods" was coined by the man himself. Perhaps you have chosen to apply it in a different sort of way, but that's where it comes from. You can hate him all you want, and I in no way condone his beliefs or hatred and fear of everyone who was slightly different. However, to discount him, does you and everyone else a great disservice. Without him; no Hellboy/no John carpenter/no wierd fiction/No Hell raiser or Clive Barker/ And for a certainty, your work would not exist either.
Only Old God of Appalachia can make an announcement for an announcement and have it be the best part of my day
Oh, joy! Oh, bliss! I have missed you so much since last season!
For the love of everything protected by the green, would you please stop teasing us and release the next season
A new video on my birthday…. What a gift :)

So much happened in season 3 that I thought more seasons had passed
Poignant timing.
Awwww, I was so happy until
I realized it was only a trailer….😔
I can't wait
Fabulous. Stunning.
WHEN
Just started season two. Can someone tell me if a certain familiar octopus creature makes an appearance at any time in the future?
No. This isn’t a Lovecraftian show. Our monsters are our own.

@@OldGodsofAppalachiaBlink twice if you're contractually obligated to deny it.
