Thanks to y’all, I now dumpster dive...even bought the grabber that Steph uses. Today, I found.....you are not going to believe this....a 32” Samsung flat screen TV...the power cord and remote too! The TV was tied up in a double bag....it’s like new...no scratches or dents...it works PERFECTLY...even the batteries in the remote work.👍🏼😃🥰.Why was this in the trash outside a Dollar General? They don’t sell them....🧐
Love all watching your dumpster dives! My favourite was when Steve gave that one homeless guy with the little brown dog a care pack you made. Love that so much! My other favorite was when you were going through all the toys you found. Steve and all his impressions cracked me up. Steph too, you made me laugh as you knew all the names of the different toy characters but Steve would have to guess. Can tell you are a Mom and grandma:))Lol! You both are so sweet and kind individuals. I have been dumpster diving for the past month. My best hauls have been on Fridays when I have the day off. I try to go in the morning about an hour after stores open and before the garbage truck comes. I found 8 big bags of stuff in total these past two Fridays. I think employees just put them fresh in the bin. I donated most of the items and kept a few things for myself. Keep up the great work!💕😘
Hi Lianne, I like that you have a dumpster diving schedule, a smart one at that! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment we appreciate it.. Wishing you much success in your dumpster diving adventures. Enjoy Your Life 🙂❤
I had to rewind twice to make sure I heard you correctly Steph when you didn’t get the Nordstrom shirts at first, I was like Steph isn’t getting them. Lol. I’m glad Steve was like yeah get them.
I’m a newbe after watching you guys. I always get gift cards ( just Incase) after my 3 rd day my old navy gift had 25$!!! So thank you for all the advice 😊. I love love love watching you two. You are hellacious. Happy hunting
My husband received a shirt from a company he worked for and they asked him not to wear it anymore since he doesn’t work for them. He worn it one day to his new job and they asked him not to wear it because they were a different company. You got to understand people who wear them and act out all people see is the company and when judge the company
I think it’s great you got those shirts. Do you know that those shirts can be used for many other things also? Some people don’t even have toilet paper so they could cut them up. They can also be used as rags or even a towel to dry their body or make them into a washcloth. So many things can be used out of those shirts. Good for you guys!
@@StevenStephResaleKillers What do you do if/when you're confronted by a store employee/manager/security? Other videos I've seen people doing this late at night. Are you going as soon as the sun rises or midday? Why do you do this in the daytime?
Debbie we do it whenever we’re out but it’s generally mid afternoon...we sleep at night 😆 and you’ve gotta let the stores have some time to generate some trash for the day 😀 it’s not illegal here so it’s not a concern to need to go at night. We do try to not get “caught” just in case an employee decides they don’t like divers and lock the dumpster or put up a no trespassing sign. We just try to stay under the radar
@@StevenStephResaleKillers thank you so much for the info and your videos are very entertaining. It's shocking how many good items are ending up in landfills, when people could use it.
Steve Steph thank you for sharing this videoI’m very glad they didn’t/those shirts and I’m glad that you save those clothes from going to the Landfield love watching it you both have a great evening love you both
Some companies require any old uniform to have the logos destroyed for company safety. It's a shame, but the destroyed clothes could at least be recycled as textiles. It's more important with companies who are involved with going to customers homes as the uniform can be used to pretend to be from a company and gain access to people's homes.
Those shirts are my favorite style. I would take them and keep a few for myself and family members, also would donate them too. Steve has good points. A shirt is a shirt. Cool score !!
Lol! Steve...a Shakeys shirt. Funny, I was just singing the old Shakey's commercial the other day. But what you said is so true. I watch tons of documentarys and its always shocking to see someone in a far off land wearing a randomt-shirt but I always think how cool it is that it got there!
I was thinking like Stephanie,. People over here, walking around in that shirt, doesn't seem wright.. but I like Stevens way of thinking, in Africa or other countries, it's not bothering anyone .. everyone needs a shirt 🍀🙏.. love the look on your faces when you both agreed that it could be donated 💕😘 11:10 ,. 💕 11:34
Steph any clothing that has been put in a dumpster with shops logos on just take it to donate it means staff do not wish to keep the old ones my friend just got 60mixed golf clubs and boxes of balls so he asked why they have thrown them away they have changed the packaging and it costs to much to send them back
This is weird, but it is such a satisfying feeling when you grab the bag, flip it tear it and get the gift card , LOL, guess maybe the sound of the bag??!! 🤣🤪
When I find something with a logo or picture I don't like, I wear it under a sweatshirt or sweater. If I find something I can't use,I give it away. Someone will be warmer or more comfortable. Tina
Lovely to save those shirts, many people in need of an extra layer of clothing. Big shame about that sleigh, think I would have taken it anyway to see what could be done with it. Great video again.
You could set the sleigh sideways, in the hedges (or shrubs, trees, etc.,)of your front yard, and put a big red bow on it, and nobody would see the broken rail that way. 😊👍🎅
Its actually free advertising for the company. If they go overseas, people will assume they company donated them. That would be great for business. There is always a chance Americans would see them.
The round metal disc would make a great hanging dry erase board (you could even get a holiday floral pick and some nice ribbon to kick it up a notch). I would have taken the sleigh and used it in the front yard- nestled in some greenery the broken portion would not show at all, then you could fill with potted plants. The shirts were a good call... if you are cold and homeless that extra layer would mean a lot.
I know charity shops here cant sell clothes with company logos as someone could walk into the store and pretend they work for them but u still are right to take them ❤️
Any charity like Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, or Lutheran Family Services would welcome clean shirts like that. They are the groups that reach out to those who have lost everything in fires and floods, etc. Fold and box them neatly and you have a great contribution.
every time you go to this place at the beginning I get nervous. it looks like the place where you got caught with the yellow cushions and steph left steve hanging. 🤣
Why did you leave the sleigh? Even if it had a missing piece, it could be used for a planter or something. It would also be good as a photo prop! Put a red blanket inside to protect the puppy or baby. Add a Santa hat and you've got a great pic for Christmas cards! 😁🎅🏾👍🎄💜
You two could get into metal scrapping and make a little extra money with the metal you find that you can’t save otherwise. That round thing can also be used in arts and crafts for tracing circles on paper and fabrics.
My friend has rental house and 3 were just abandoned. People left so much stuff behind. Food that was not outdated we donated. Other stuff I sorted through like clothes and electronic gadgets I brought home. I even scored a white Christmas tree with lights. Had a broken wire but my other half is pretty knowledgable in electric so fixed it. I sold it for $25. Now to set up an ebay account!! And she has a building she is going to let me warehouse all my reclaimed stuff!!
I think Steph was thinking correctly on these shirts but on the other hand it is good advertising for Nordstrom. Yes thinking on it i think it was right to grab them. Yes Steve is right on this one.

OMG THAT SLEIGH!! Would make adorable craft project even if it was broken just turn it to the back
No the Sleigh! I would have still taken it and turned it into a craft project. Oh well, onto the next. :)
Or just a little decorative stuff on the broken side for coverup, it would have been just fine!😢
