Yes, enchanting. I'm imagining my grandmother having this in a room of her home. I'm imagining me as a little girl visiting my grandmother. The dresser has always caught my eye and piqued my curiosity. I imagine that as the good little girl I am, I know not to touch it. But I gaze at it in wonder. So beautiful.
This is truly gorgeous my goodness this is beyond gorgeous and it has really inspired me thank you! It almost looked like until the end pics that a lot of the dark wax was gone but there it was stunning
HI again..... i was watching the video and was giggling cause it was like looking a mirror... my paint smears and drips all over my leggings..... love it
I think that you're a piece of beautiful and the first part where you were explaining to paint that you used in sanding. And explaining all that was perfect. However, to the part where you are applying the resin molds to that. You were using what kind of process is it to attach those to the wood? Furniture itself. I would love to know that. And I just found your channel and if you're linked. And you're tutorials are this beautiful. I'm excited to have found you. I would love to know how you attach. That was keep furniture though thank you for sharing
Also, the drawing time of your resumes and attaching that to the furniture. How long does that take? And is it a overnight thing 24 hours? How long do you keep the painters tape there 42 stay in place?
Thank you so much, I am very new to filming and left out things I should have included. I used translucent wood glue to attach the resin flowers. My process was to lay the dresser on its back for attaching most of the flowers which kept them in place. When I did have to tape them on to keep them in place i left that a few hours. The dry time for the glue varied depending on the weather but I would say they were completely dry within 24 hours.
This looks good. I do wish you would've put some colour on the flowers and other things, though. It would've made them stand out a little more, even if the colours were pale or just brushed onto the top. That's just my personal opinion. It still looks great.
How are the flowers stuck on to the chest ? Or did I miss it it’s gorgeous but would like more info on details Can you give generic names for those of us not in USA please
Yes, the flower moulds were attached with a Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) glue, the brand is Gorilla Glue. We will start including generic names in the videos. Thank you for the feedback!
Beautiful work. How long did this take? What do you estimate you will get for it and where do you live if you will share that. Wondering about the return on time investment and the resin and moulds are not inexpensive.
It is very time consuming I would estimate just to put the flowers on it took at least 4 hours. The resin I think I used approx 3 boxes so that cost approx. $60 and the moulds I have reused several times already so they were worth the investment. The dresser was free and I used a custom paint that I made myself using mistint paint so materials were less than $100. I live in the Pacific NW and at least in my area FB marketplace has not been selling very well so though I had a lot of interest in the dresser and so many people telling me how beautiful it was I only sold it for $425. I think in another area it would have sold for more.
Your links don’t work to the products you used. I tried typing them in and no luck there. Make them affiliate links so you make some money from people’s purchases.
You did an amazing job! Those are a lot of work but worth it in the end😊

Офигенно!
Спасибо
If you use clear wax first then apply dark wax is easier to age the piece❤
Great tip!
That is soooo beautiful. Makes me want to try it! I've done quite a bit with resin art so now on to making molds. Was it very labor intensive?

thank you so much yes it took several hours
Wow 😲 beautiful ❤️ what adhesive do you use?
I use transparent wood glue all the products I use and links are in the description 😀

HI!! how do you feel about the sander? and your Wagner sprayer?

That's strange I used an affliate link I will have to figure out what I did wrong thank you for letting me know
The links worked for me!
finally got them fixed!
I got them fixed they weren't working because I wasn't verified by you tube yet, I'm a newbie lol@@ACoastalMagnolia
You are doing great for a newbie …your piece was very interesting and detailed. I love furniture flipping teacher too.
Are you using varathane to seal it ? If so do you worry about it yellowing over time? ty
I used water based behr polyurethane so it shouldn't yellow.
Are you gluing on the appliqué or are you just putting on while it's still a little wet and it dries in place?
I use a clear wood glue.
Hey can you give me a name of resin
Amazing casting resin. All products I use are in the description with an Amazon link 😀
🌞🌞🌞
You don’t need to prime or sand with chalk paint.
I was concerned there might be bleed through and I didn’t want to waste paint doing several coats to cover.
Очень красиво получилось! Но пользоваться страшно - один маленький скол и изделие испорчено. В музей разве что? Для быта предпочитаю мебель попроще.
Surprisingly, it’s very durable and I place them in places that they are very unlikely to chip off
Enjoyed your video, but your voice is muffled, ..not clear...crisp!
I know I am very new to filming and doing it solo. I am working on learning to get better.
