    Girl I’m sitting in my chair at 10:40pm on 9/29/23 an I been sitting her for the past 2 hours with only one braid in, I feel the same as you did. I laughed so hard when I heard you experiencing the same thing. You gave me hope tho your hair came out so cute but Iam so ready for it to be over with ❤😂

    I usually do my parting a day before I start my twists so I can hop right into it

    • @ShaynaViolet
      @ShaynaViolet  2 місяці тому

      My problem is 1. I always start my hair at the worst times (either have somewhere to go or I’ll start on a Sunday knowing I have work the next day) or 2. I get so lazy after parting I’ll just twist my natural and leave it like that was the style I was going for lol 😂

    Really love your video❤❤. I use the Ebin 24hr Edge Tamer with the black top and a little of that product literally goes a long way

    I absolutely love it! You just saved me lots of money 🤑… I can do my own hair but lately I’ve been a little too lazy- however, after seeing the prices for braids, twist or any protective styles I realize I’ll have to do it myself-
    I always wanted this look but I never knew which type of hair I should purchase- I’ve worn this hair before in a crochet Afro style- but I never thought to use it for Havana twist- and the hair is light-
    I’m going to try this out
    I love this hairstyle on you it looks so natural-great tutorial! I’ve subscribed!
    Sorry for the long comment-🥱

    Can you show us the parting technique/process?

    • @ShaynaViolet
      @ShaynaViolet  2 роки тому +2

      Next video I'll try to include it. It takes me so long like at least 2-3 hours to part my hair and they still come out crooked 😂

    • @cierraf.2265
      @cierraf.2265 2 роки тому

      @@ShaynaViolet I like the crooked parts! It makes it look more natural. But WHYYYY did I try to do it. I came out with 30 parts, only used 6 packs.....and the twists look HUGE!! I'm so sad because I know it's my gripping/twisting technique. They're not tight enough.

    • @ShaynaViolet
      @ShaynaViolet  2 роки тому +2

      Oh no! First thing glad you tried it out. If you have the time/patience definitely practice on a doll head or someone else’s head. It truly helps to figure out and perfect the twisting method and like front and center instead of twisting up your arms to try to do it on yourself (the first time around) when i first first started doing my hair i would always do 1-2 on my mannequin to make sure I actually like whatever im planning on doing and that it makes sense i.e the number of pieces and if it achieves the look that im going for.

    What was the original lengths amountif you had enough hair

    • @ShaynaViolet
      @ShaynaViolet  2 роки тому

      8-10 packs would be enough depending on how big your parts are!

  • @lovelivelaugh4463
    @lovelivelaugh4463 2 роки тому

    Why did you mix the 24 and 16 inch??

    • @ShaynaViolet
      @ShaynaViolet  2 роки тому

      I didnt have enough of the 24 and had some leftover of the 16!

    • @lovelivelaugh4463
      @lovelivelaugh4463 2 роки тому

      So would I just use 4 pieces of 24 for each one?

    • @ShaynaViolet
      @ShaynaViolet  2 роки тому

      Yes! But depending on how big or small you want them you can add more or less.
