    yo dope vid bro. also one thing to note, hip hop is in double time. so the typical 2 & 4 is on 3. it’s kinda weird but most hip hop producers would’ve done 164 instead of 82. anyway, mad props for making a solid track when you don’t make hip hop!

    • @GavinTaylorMusic
      @GavinTaylorMusic 5 років тому

      VitaliyKosinskyy hip hop producers have that exact same reason for working in double tempo. trust me, they do. pop is a different story, but hip hop is double time

    • @Dshn.1
      @Dshn.1 5 років тому

      @@GavinTaylorMusic That's subjective. Hip-Hop is usually around 60 - 100 BPM. Modern Hip-Hop/Trap is 80 - 170 BPM but like I said it's subjective and it really depends on what sound you're trying to go for.

    • @GavinTaylorMusic
      @GavinTaylorMusic 5 років тому

      Deshun Jetson yeah it’s subjective, however hip hop is *literally* in double time, hence why most people will set the metronome to quarter note equals eight note. so yeah technically it doesn’t make a bit of difference, just more of a style thing

    This is so weird. Your tutorials are all very clear and stuff but I got Ableton Live Lite a few weeks ago and the more I try to gather information about computer-made music and try it myself, the more my brain reacts exactly like it did in math class in high-school: complete shut down because of the absolute mass of information coming in. Everytime I watch a tutorial I hear about a new plug in that I need, a new sample pack that sounds great, a difficulty to overcome or something, I can't come up with good, creative ideas in the first place because I'm too busy trying to catch up with the information which makes it even harder to understand... I feel so lost.
