Great Dorset Steam Fair 2019

- This lengthy video is a culmination of clips that I took during the duration of the event. Most of these clips are filmed on Watford Gap, which is the famous hill climb that makes up of the playpen. The 2019 event was another special with emphasis on the manufactures of steam engines that were based in the city of Lincoln. These manufactures included; Clayton & Shuttleworth, Foster, Ruston Proctor, Ruston Hornsby, and Robey.
The highlight for me was on the hour, with that terrific low light on the convoy of tractions, the sun gleaming off the brass work...........
Very therapeutic watching this. Memories of a very hot busy GDSF. My little Ruston SD blasting up the hill (29.07)

The county of Dorset in the UK. Well over 600 acres of fun. An annual event run by a mate of mine.
@@PSUK the first great Dorset steam fairs was originally held on a different site until that sitie was lost and it evenutally moved to this one
