- Ben is determined to regain his sea legs, but Sirocco’s faulty galley has other plans. Travis’ latest drunken night has Sandy at the end of her rope. Jack ups his romance game by writing poetry for Aesha, while Anastasia’s apathy for her old job is starting make Hannah’s life more difficult. And rough seas puts the boat in a situation that leaves everyone holding on for dear life.

Sandy may be navigating the “Sirocco” mega yacht again, but she brings a new level of leadership in season four. With high expectations, she has no tolerance for anything short of perfection and will take drastic measures if the crew can’t deliver. Hannah, looking to right her wrongs from last season, is hoping for smooth sailing with a strong interior crew. But will choppy waters threaten her redemption? Mila, classically trained in French culinary cuisine, becomes the first female chef in franchise history, but after a bout with food poisoning right as the first charter guests are set to arrive, she’ll have her work cut out for her. Aesha, coping with a difficult past and using humor to get through tough times, is ready to hit the high seas and get another charter under her belt. Anastasia, born in the Republic of Georgia, has a strong sense of pride in her work ethic which takes her on an unexpected journey. João is looking for a fresh start and is laser focused on being the best Bosun for the crew, but not everyone is on board. Colin, feeling homesick, quickly finds himself on the outs after trying to connect with the new deck crew. Travis after a few mishaps begins to question leadership, however, it’s his “work hard, play hard” mentality that comes into question by the rest of the crew. Jack ruffles feathers when the crew notices he’s putting more effort into pursuing a crew member than his actual job.

I loved how Captain Sandy addresses this situation, but the way she addressed mental health with Hannah is beyond disappointing.

Well she seemed concerned when she had an anxiety attack but when she found pills and a weed pen with no prescription she had no choice. They have to be approved because she could’ve lost her boating license
@@ayannascott523 I don’t think people understand how extremely serious the drugs were. Sandy is LEGALLY responsible for everything and everyone on that boat wether or not she knows it’s there. Hannah fucked up so hard.

Seeing this now after the treatment of Hannah, sure changes my perception of Capt. Sandy. Such compassion for the male alcoholic; such derision of Hannah and her anxiety and prescription medication.
It's simple. Alcohol is not illegal and hes an adult. Hannah had drugs that require a prescription she didnt have. She either stole someone's pills or forged a script. Only drug addicts obtain pills without a prescription. She's a drug addict.

Because having drugs on the boat with no prescription on file can have extremely serious consequences. The Captain can lose her license, the boat can be seized, the entire crew can face possible jail time and/or huge fines, etc….
Love the way Captain Sandy taking time to try and help. Very good woman. 29 years that is wonderful. So happy for you.

I keep thinking about how he said he left home because of the meth problem- he just traded the addiction for booze. Curious WHY Perth has such a substance abuse issue?

That dude is a legit alcoholic . Everyone gets trashed once in a while. But he does EVERY TIME! That is a problem. Maybe he will listen to Sandy, but probably not

He's an aussie hahaha we like to drink a lot. especially in airlie beach which is where travis works from i think. huge party culture!
He seems sad and filled with depression... and like he's "trying to" self medicate with booze. So sad to watch his self destruction. Hope he quits drinking & finds peaceful ways of existing.

I love Captain Sandy so much I can't even tell you. I think this is an incredible woman person human Great Captain. I admire her so so much. Even more after this my God. Bravo why can't you cast more people like this on your shows? It brought tears to my eyes. Why all this fighting and stupid crap you put on. And not people like this was substance character good character.

I really appreciated this scene. No one let him slide...but they came to him in love & openness. I really liked that. Even Jack, who agreed with others but didn't want to lay into him. There was a lot of honor, respect, and love in this crew.
In this for six months now. Then i saw her approach. She's the shiz! You don't have to focus on perfection, just jump out of the cycle. After awhile, you realize how screwed up your judgement was. Not to mention how exhausting it is hiding and lying about it. He's drinking to reduce stress which causes more. Rode that train for 20 years. Starts out celebrating and then you realize your getting trashed everytime all the time. Love Sandy and her words.
I think it's really nice that Captain Sandy has a talk to Travis kinda like a mother talking to her son. I Like Travis he is such a good looking guy I hope he can cut off the drink or cut back a bit.

I think she just changed my life
Captain Sandy was very much trying to help him and in doing so she told him about her past experience as always n alcoholic in doing so she very much won my respect not many would have done that for him
All he did on the job was drink and anyone else he might had been fired but they saw through him and he is in need of help

Hey Travis hope you read these comments ,it would be the best thing for you to hear from a few of the millions who actually watch . So here is the truth , even though you can’t accept you have a alcohol habit ,you have a problem . So seek help and know everyone rooting for you to get on the wagon and stay on it for the rest of your life . That’s how it works ,you can’t go back to drinking .

You don’t have to CRAVE alcohol to have a drinking problem.
I could go weeks without a drink in my twenties/thirties, but I had no self control, no ‘off switch’ and would just drink til blackout drunk.
Surprised I’m still alive tbh.
I was a TERRIBLE drunk.
If you aren’t sure, then ask your friends to be honest with you, “Am I a bad drunk?”
And see what they say.
Having my son saved me, tbh.
Had a few repeats over the years, but I barely ever have a drink now.
Don’t miss it at all. (Definitely don’t miss the horrendous mix of deep shame and hangovers that last 2 days!!)
But I know that if I did go on a big night out I’d have to be VERY careful not to get blind drunk.
I LIKE being tipsy, feel less socially inhibited,
but if I don’t eat first, or mix drinks, all bets would be off! Self control goes straight out the window!!

@@sytaelf As the captain said, she could loose her license. Imagine studying for 6 years, then go thru the ranks, become a captain of a mega yatch and then let a stew get away with a minor drug issue and you loose your whole career and will never be allowed to be captain on any boat ever again. Would you do it? And its all being recorded anyways. Rules at sea are very strict, and it has to be, if you dont understand that, dont comment.

Alcoholism doesn’t run in anyone’s family. There is not a single gene responsible for alcoholism. You do however have many thousands of genes that may make you more susceptible to substance abuse.
