Honest-to-god, I don't know what WB was smoking when they decided to keep the DCEU and Arrowverse separate at the start. It would've made all the sense in the world to incorporate Man of Steel into the same universe as Arrow, especially considering the chronology. Arrow Season 1 (2012-early 2013): Grounded reality Man of Steel (Mid 2013): First Contact Arrow Season 2 (Late 2013-Early 2014): Heightened Reality I remember when The Flash film was announced in 2014 Stephen Amell noted how much of a disservice it was to Gustin to not let him portray the character on the big screen too, and I agree. Furthermore, incorporating Arrow would've allowed the DCEU to avoid Batman burnout (Rebooting Batman so soon after TDK Trilogy was a bad idea), and hold off on Batman for a bit. You totally could've let Arrow, The Flash, and maybe a sci-fi Green Lantern show hold the small screen while Superman and Wonder Woman led the big screen efforts, with Batman being rebooted in the Justice League movie.

@Will N I don't think so, Schumager and Singer are not at all alike in their universes, I think the universe of the 90s should stay in the 90s. I understand that Palicky's WW took some inspiration from the dark knight trilogy, that's why his pilot shows the issue of the role of the vigilantes and a more serious debate about it, including issues such as drug addiction and a tone more "realistic" since this WW does not seem to be as powerful as Gal Gadot's, also, like Batbale and Superman Routh, he has 2 costumes, 1 attached to the comics that is the one he uses at the end of his chapter, 2 the most modern that he uses at the beginning that is with pants and other boots. Schumager's bizarre era has nothing to do with Superman Routh or WW 2011. A Bizarro Superman that would fit with Schumager is Nicolas Cage Superman who is from a similar era (late 90s) Bale, Routh and Palicky fit better together and are from a similar era (mid 2000s to early 2010s more specifically 2005-2012) the Schumager era ended in 97 in Batman and Robin, then the new DC era began with movies like Steel ending in 2012 with TDKR, then another era began, the DCEU era in 2013 along with the Arrowverse era

The Parademons are turned into Sinestro’s yellow ring constructed foot soldiers and Nolan’s batman is fighting them off one by one…You can say that Sinestro is toying with Batman instead of Killing him. Or Repurposing some Homelander Flight and lasering scenes into Superman scenes I could keep going on and on But you get the Point.

This is incredible, and as one other commenter said, it feels So nostalgic to see this, particularly because of a handful of fan trailers like this which I saw when I was a kid, and which took me from loving superheroes and sci-fi since early in life, to them being some of my biggest passions. The editing, the backgrounds, the merging of such Vastly different universes, and as another comment said, styles of filmmaking...wildly impressive!
What I like is that there was a very brief moment in time where this *could* have been the DCEU. Green Lantern was meant to kick-start the DCEU, and the producers (who would go on to create the Arrowverse) kept making references to it in their shows, all while Man of Steel was in production, and it wasn't clear yet if the DC TV shows and movies were connected or not.
Not to mention Zack Snyder was actually going to include Bale as part of the DCEU instead of Affleck (and he was pretty close with the story MOS had and the logo on that Wayne enterprises satelitte).

Imagine watching Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021 knowing that you've seen this Batman onscreen for 16 years, or how emotional the Speed Force scene could have been with a Flash you've seen grow and mature over the years in the TV show. To be fair, when WB decided to give Nolan complete freedom on his Batman, they probably didn't know this decision would have still haunted them 15 years later

If you think about, The Dark Knight, Green Lantern, & Man Of Steel work pretty good continuity-wise In Green Lantern, Hal throws the satellite at Parallax, and Parallax destroys it In MoS, the satellite we see has the Nolanverse Wayne Enterprises logo (except the Wayne is on top of the shape in the logo) which means that prior to TDKR, the company manufactured another satellite to replace the one that was destroyed in GL, but of course, it ends up being destroyed too upon it falling down towards the earth thanks to Zod

Tyler Hoechlin does not fit with Superman and Amy Manson does not fit with Wonder Woman, there is nothing better than Henry Cavill for Superman and Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman.

Honest-to-god, I don't know what WB was smoking when they decided to keep the DCEU and Arrowverse separate at the start. It would've made all the sense in the world to incorporate Man of Steel into the same universe as Arrow, especially considering the chronology.

Arrow Season 2 (Late 2013-Early 2014): Heightened Reality
I remember when The Flash film was announced in 2014 Stephen Amell noted how much of a disservice it was to Gustin to not let him portray the character on the big screen too, and I agree. Furthermore, incorporating Arrow would've allowed the DCEU to avoid Batman burnout (Rebooting Batman so soon after TDK Trilogy was a bad idea), and hold off on Batman for a bit. You totally could've let Arrow, The Flash, and maybe a sci-fi Green Lantern show hold the small screen while Superman and Wonder Woman led the big screen efforts, with Batman being rebooted in the Justice League movie.

@Will N I don't think so, Schumager and Singer are not at all alike in their universes, I think the universe of the 90s should stay in the 90s.
I understand that Palicky's WW took some inspiration from the dark knight trilogy, that's why his pilot shows the issue of the role of the vigilantes and a more serious debate about it, including issues such as drug addiction and a tone more "realistic" since this WW does not seem to be as powerful as Gal Gadot's, also, like Batbale and Superman Routh, he has 2 costumes, 1 attached to the comics that is the one he uses at the end of his chapter, 2 the most modern that he uses at the beginning that is with pants and other boots.
Schumager's bizarre era has nothing to do with Superman Routh or WW 2011.
A Bizarro Superman that would fit with Schumager is Nicolas Cage Superman who is from a similar era (late 90s)
Bale, Routh and Palicky fit better together and are from a similar era (mid 2000s to early 2010s more specifically 2005-2012)
the Schumager era ended in 97 in Batman and Robin, then the new DC era began with movies like Steel ending in 2012 with TDKR, then another era began, the DCEU era in 2013 along with the Arrowverse era
The joker and the reverse flash interaction was so funny. And the little details like “isn’t this dude from central city” we’re awesome!

This is incredible, and as one other commenter said, it feels So nostalgic to see this, particularly because of a handful of fan trailers like this which I saw when I was a kid, and which took me from loving superheroes and sci-fi since early in life, to them being some of my biggest passions. The editing, the backgrounds, the merging of such Vastly different universes, and as another comment said, styles of filmmaking...wildly impressive!

Well, you guys complained your way out of this.
What I like is that there was a very brief moment in time where this *could* have been the DCEU.
Green Lantern was meant to kick-start the DCEU, and the producers (who would go on to create the Arrowverse) kept making references to it in their shows, all while Man of Steel was in production, and it wasn't clear yet if the DC TV shows and movies were connected or not.
Not to mention Zack Snyder was actually going to include Bale as part of the DCEU instead of Affleck (and he was pretty close with the story MOS had and the logo on that Wayne enterprises satelitte).
@@suryasingh9738 I still wonder how the DCEU would have been like if they actually chose to take all their preexisting adaptations and merge them into one continuity. Imagine watching Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021 knowing that you've seen this Batman onscreen for 16 years, or how emotional the Speed Force scene could have been with a Flash you've seen grow and mature over the years in the TV show.
To be fair, when WB decided to give Nolan complete freedom on his Batman, they probably didn't know this decision would have still haunted them 15 years later

If you think about, The Dark Knight, Green Lantern, & Man Of Steel work pretty good continuity-wise
In Green Lantern, Hal throws the satellite at Parallax, and Parallax destroys it
In MoS, the satellite we see has the Nolanverse Wayne Enterprises logo (except the Wayne is on top of the shape in the logo) which means that prior to TDKR, the company manufactured another satellite to replace the one that was destroyed in GL, but of course, it ends up being destroyed too upon it falling down towards the earth thanks to Zod

I know some people wanted Gal Gadot or batfleck but I specifically wanted to have each hero from a different universe like you said.

I think that if they would do a movie ft Grant Gustin as The Flash, they should do casting based off of The CW shows (Tyler Hoechlin as Superman).
This would lead to the introduction of a Wonder Woman (played by Scottish actress Amy Manson who was originally set to play Diana on the never released show Amazons), Alain Moussi (who did the stunts and martial arts for Batman on Titans) as Batman, and a introduction to The Green Lantern (whether it be played by David Ramsey or someone else).
Tyler Hoechlin does not fit with Superman and Amy Manson does not fit with Wonder Woman, there is nothing better than Henry Cavill for Superman and Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman.
