I like what you are doing, I am just about to make one of those. I saw the video from way out west beekeeping and a couple things that he did differently were that he made his tower tall, 5-7 boxes tall and he strapped his whole unit together. He had a wood fired home made setup and it looked like he was burning a lot of wood to make a lot of steam too. I wonder, would you put the steam inlet lower next time to melt those drips better?
thanks for the comment. I haven't really changed the setup much since this video, so the steam inlet is in the same position. The biggest challenge comes when frames have a lot of pollen on them. There it seems the steamer just cant produce enough steam to really melt down the frames. I've had the most success with two boxes of frames, any higher and the steam cools down too much on the way up. Good luck!
