As alternative you can stick to basic plan (roughly 10$ per month) and rank pictures every day. With 30-40 rates you should end up in the top 1000 voters of the last 24h and you get 60 minutes of gpu time for free. Still a bumer that Basic doesn't has the relax mode available :( But this method is good for casual users who don't want to spend 30 bucks per month.

You have to upscale them first. Then you can rank tjem on a scale from 1-4 via the emoji buttons.

I've been using relaxed mode since a day or three...and I must say, even the upscaling doesn't really take that long. It kinda depends on the creation perhaps? But I never had to wait longer then, let's say 2 minutes (MAX!). Most upscale are finished under a minute.
It depends on what the command is and it also depends A LOT on the time of day. It gets to the point of taking 15 to 30 minutes when the majority of the "rich" world is online. I say "rich" because it's quite evident based on the data I'm seeing that the primary paying users of Midjourney are from developed countries.
I've been using relax mode and upscaling is almost instant for me

I've been finding relaxed mode to be fast enough for upscaling; however, there is a particular beta test upscaling that requires fast mode. I'm sure you've run into it, Christian.
Relax mode is unfortunately very slow on v5. Can't reasonably use it there.
@@TokenizedAI Well, what I usually do is flip over to another tab to catch a bit of a video or check mail or such, and within a couple of minutes or so, the generation is done, so I don't really notice the time. It's actually kind of nice to flip back and see the fully realized result. But, I guess if you're in a hurry, it drags.

When we image to image photo manipulation in MJ current photo angle is changed by default. How to manipulate photo without affecting the image such as camera angle, orientation, size. Kindly your support.
There is no sure-fire way of achieving what you want. You will have to go through a trial and error process and experiment with different types of keywords that indicate what sort of an angle you want. You can put more emphasis on the keywords that indicate the angle/perspective by giving them a strong weight. For example: /imagine a tv set::1 side angle perspective::2 (this give the second keyword/phrase 2x the weight).

idk if it is just me but... when I use relax mode the quality is not the same as fast mode... i have tried many times this approach and the results keep the same, relax mode creates normal images, and fast mode creates realistic images.
I dunno, to be honest, it sounds like it might be you. I've never heard anyone say this and also can't say I agree. Especially since it's super easy to test by simply generating the exact same image by setting a --seed.
does variations of relaxed mode created images considered also "relaxed"? meaning is it still unlimited?
That's not how relaxed mode works. Either it's turned on or it's not. It's not linked to the prompt.

There are no before or after comparisons. You have the Standard plan, so you hvae 15 hours of "fast time". Every command uses a little bit of that time. In Relax Mode, it doesn't use any of it,. effectively giving you unlimited generations. It doesn't change your images in any way. It just saves Fast GPU Time.

Will midjourney randomly start charging me more without warning? Will I still be able to switch back to relaxed when I run out of fast and create unlimited generations again?
i cant do any upscale with relax mode ? so I cant press U1, U2, U3, U4
Yes you can, but it will usually be much slower. I generally recommend to use /relax to save your Fast GPU time and only use it for upscaling.

@@khov I personally haven't noticed that much of a difference. The longest I had to wait for an upscale in relaxed mode was 2 minutes, but usulayy it takes about a minute I'd say.
What are the limitations of the slow mode?

@@olimpiag Not sure what you're doing but there is literally no difference in quality. If there is, then because you're not comparing the same prompt/images. Relax mode literally just delays the generation process because you're not in the priority queue. That's all.

One enters "/relax" or "/fast" at the beginning of the prompt after "/imagine" to change modes?
No no, you don't add them to the prompt. They act like a switch. You enter them directly. It just saves you some time by avoiding to enter /settings and pressing the buttons.
A slight correction: bitcoin mining uses RENEWABLE ENERGY, CHEAP ENERGY or even ENERGY THAT WAS BEING WASTE.
Bitcoin mining does not destroy the planet, quite the contrary, miners cannot make a profit when energy expenditure is high. The cheaper the energy (more abundant) the better for bitcoin.
