This Ibanez RG2EX1 Is a no frills plug in and go instrument.
It's a mid level guitar, but I have to say, it does 3 things that many guitars do not.
*Stays in tune
*Intonates well
*Does not need attention to the fret job. Super low action, no dead notes, no fretting out when bending.
Those 3 points should be commonplace but unfortunately, it's not.
You will hear me mention these 3 guitar "ISSUES" in future videos.
Totally stock, this is a Decent sounding guitar that is easy to play with a crisp look.
The RG2EX1 plays better than many guitars selling for the $1k-$2k price point. Used, the RG2EX1 sell for $200-$400. If you see one for around $250-$300, don't hesitate, you are getting a solid instrument. Don't let the price fool you.

This was my first guitar about 15 years ago and in my honest opinion it still feels and plays better than my gibson sg or my epiphone casino, and it's like a fraction of the price of those guitars too. Still own it to this day and love it.
For the price point, you can’t beat it.
I have one with emg 81 and 85s and gotoh locking tuners, and a chrome bridge and volume and tone knows. Awesome guitar.

What kind of pickups are they?
Some kind of EMG passive. They come stock with this model.
Price?
They no longer make this model. Currently they sell used for $200 to $300
