SURPRISE!!! A Madonna Reaction on Saturday!?! LOL Let me know what you all thought!! I love you & appreciate you all! 🥰❤️🥰 ...&... Thank you for all the support! It truly means the world to me! 🥰😁🥰
One of my favourite songs and a forgotten hit by Madonna. This used to be my playground was a huge hit in 1992. The song was a no.1 hit in the states (her 10th no.1 hit) and a top 10 hit worldwide. The song was the sound track to the movie “a league of there own”. The movie stared Tom Hanks, Gena Davis, Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell!! Fun fact Madonna and Rosie are still great friends today after meeting on the set of the movie 30 years later!!
Totally agree!?! This song REALLY Touched my soul! ESP with all the Medical Issues that I have, living with Brain Cancer, I honestly REALLY Was impressed by this song!?! 🥰😍🥰 Thanks for watching & commenting, Miguel!! ❤️
@@MadamRoastBeefYT I admire you for having the energy and the good vibe that you have, all the light that you irradiate. You're so full of life. You give me life! Good for you buddy. I send you love. Love from Argentina!🌈
YAY!! I'm glad that you saw this!?! I was a bit nervous with uploading this on Saturday, that a lot of people would miss it... 🤦♀️😅🤦♀️ Which is UA-cam's fault as a platform LOL But! Still, glad that you saw it Coolhive, and thanks again for always commenting & being so kind! 🥰❤️😁❤️🥰
One of my favourite Madonna songs, it always makes me feel nostalgic for my old house back when I was a child, and my grandfather, who was always there to support me. "Whishing you were here with me", pretty much sums up it up when it comes to him. *Sigh*.... I do feel covering songs you missed on a Saturday is better than wasting a Monday that you could be pushing on with the next song on your journey, but that's just my opinion. Anyway great reaction as always Madam and I am glad you finally got round to reacting to it. 😊
Thanks for watching & commenting, as ALWAYS!?! Zane!!! I REALLY Hope you know how much it means!! 🥰 I was a lil nervous with uploading this on Saturday how the video would do... 😅🤣😅 BUT! Oh well, at least I can say that I didn't skip this song!! Haha ❤️😁❤️
This is one of her greatest ballads. I am glad that you reacted to this song and you liked it, although at times I was not sure if you were bored because of your yawning, but I guess you were not bored, just tired 😀. I wish you great improvement in your medical situation. Lots of LOVE!!! ❤🧡💛💜💙💚
Oh my gosh Madam, you threw me off with a Saturday Madonna reaction! lol. You bad girl! ;) I love this ballad. It went to #1 on the Hot 100, but it is often overlooked. Madonna has never performed it live, which is a shame. Maybe one day she will! It's a pretty song, and I like the page turning aspect of the video. Madonna looks stunning in a lot of the scenes in this. I love the movie that it is from, "A Legue of Their Own". Definitely one of Madonna's best movie projects. I am glad you went back to do this one for sure! As alsways, love the journey, Love Madonna, and love you! Hope you are feeling good and forging ahead queen. See you Monday for the uncensored and naughtier verson of Erotica! Much love.......
I was so happy you were able to see this video it’s always been one of my favorite songs by Madonna. I love you, hope you’re doing well my friend, You’ll be receiving a Madonna type package in the mail soon
Haha LOVE you SO much, Rudy!! ❤Thank you for watching my Madonna-related videos!?! &!! For helping me UNDERSTAND & Be AWARE Of how iconic, beautiful & amazing Madonna is, not only as an artist!! BUT! As a person, I love you! ❤& I appreciate you SO, So, SO Much! 😁❤😁
Loved your reaction. This ballad takes me back to my childhood and all the places that i remember with a lot of nostalgia. I remember waking up in summer of 1992 and saw the video on the TV by surprise for the first time. Without internet, we didn't had much music news like today haha
Wonderful to see your reaction to this song and video! I loved a League of their own so much when it came out that I saw at 11 times in the theater still have some of my ticket stubs too! The song is so heartbreaking, and a bit of trivia I learned back then in the section in the video where she holds up a picture and puts it back, it's a picture of her mom. Which makes this song even more sad and I could totally relate having lost my mom several years ago. But the beautiful thing with Madonna's ballads is just like Live to Tell it can take on many different meanings and I think that's what makes her so unique and special!
I think this song is timeless. cant believe it was released 30 years ago around this time. You should do a reaction of 'Ghosttown' which is another slow ballad.
One of my most beloved Madonna songs and your the first person I know reacting to this! Hope you liked it? At the time it was massive for Madonna because she hasn't released any new music for a while back in '92 and it was something unexpected. This gem of course reached #1 on Billboard.
I honestly didn't even know that the song existed!?! Haha and I absolutely fell in love with it!! 😍🥰😍 These Madonna Monday Videos are honestly, REALLY Cool for me and are 100% turning me into a TOTAL Stan 🤣🤣😅😅 Thanks for watching & commenting too, btw, Sasha! It honestly means so much!! 🥰❤️🥰
Madonna the Queen. I think back to the 80s and early 90s with all the Madonna haters. They all believed she was a sexually promiscuous drug user that would die young from disease. She was turning sex into art in her music, videos and other media. She was not that person in real life, but honoring those who loved Sex with her art. And she is still alive and making fabulous music, still breaking records like 50 Number 1 dance songs and going on world tours. While sadly so many others from the 80s, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince and others are no longer with us, but the Queen is still reigning supreme. That is why you never judge a book by its cover. We ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 you Madonna for all eternity!
Hi, Madam! Came to see you react to this beautiful ballad, which makes me tear (along with the movie). I feel M emotes a lot with her voice. Been jamming to Finally Enough Love!
Hello, if you look at the scenes of the train, they are the same as in the video You'll see, there are several shots where they are the same as the train in the video, You'll see.
This Used To Be My Playground was recorded for the movie A League Of Their Own. Madonna has a supporting role in the movie. . The movie was a hit. I highly recommend it. . Madonna hasn't had much success with film roles.😢
Hello! in this period she had shown herself elegant the family film was also released where she acted and sang this used be my plaground. a few months later came erotica and the film body of evidence plus the sex book was a shook for everyone that drastic change. the uncensored erotica video is unofficial and taken mostly from behind the scenes of the sex boox
Nicknamed by Boy George This Used to be my Video! - the idea was first shown in the Boy George video To Be Reborn - it's exactly the same idea, book with pages turned, etc. Maybe another time Madonna "borrowed" a visual - nobody mention Guy Bordin and the Hollywood video lol
I have always loved this song. I feel like it's a sort of hidden gem. It did pretty well when it came out, but I think it was one that got lost in time so to speak.

The outfits she wore depicted the era of the 1940s as in the movie.

Big song in the summer of 1992
My fave part of your reactions is when you do an OPRAH sing-a-long - pretending to know the words and trying to wing it. YOU ARE ADORABLE.
💖👏
Love this movie SO MUCH! And the song obviously! Can’t wait for you to get to Drowned World!(look at me being active all over the place!;) )

Boy George called it “This Used to Be My Video”
To find out why check out his video for his song “To Be Reborn” 🤣

Hablas mucho, escucha primero la canción y el video y luego opinas.... Y cantas muy mal tu
Sorry but don t speak so much . And if you are tired … go to bed .
