1. I approached this tutorial from a drill 'n' bass fan's perspective. Breakbeat is too broad to define, so I hope this music sounds general enough! I highly encourage that you treat this patcher as a foundation to build upon based on your style. 2. We recently reached 1,000 subscribers. Thank you so much for all the support!
Thank you so much, Luis! I'm happy to hear these tutorials have been helpful! I took bit of a short break, but I'll get back to posting again very soon!
Hello Sir! I love your videos. Would you be able to help me (or make a short video) of how to make a portamento patch? Specifically,I have made a sampler with a soundfile in PD and would like to add portamento to the sampling rate(?) so that each time it switches sampling rates, it will glide to the next note. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
This tutorial may be helpful! ua-cam.com/video/eDenGSHyW5Q/v-deo.html If you use [line] object to glide between different speed/pitch, you should be able to get a sampler portamento. Please feel free to send me questions on my social media any time!!
Hey! Thank you very much for all of your content, im learning so much in ur videos. Btw, is it possible to generate the sounds from a subpatcher instead of using pre-recorded samples? Or am i gonna fry mi computer? My mission here is to program my own edm generator using the most customizable interfaces possible
Thank you for watching that tutorial and fixing the error in the previous videos! I'm glad to hear that people are doing it. The [line] object used for [*~] are typically also connected to a number box and that's an issue since number box is NOT a signal object. So, you can simply ignore that number box and connect [line~] straight into [*~].
This tutorial is very well done, just like your other videos! I was wondering, would it be possible to share this project file? I am looking for generative breakbeats for a project I'm doing where I beat video games using my MIDI keyboard which also plays generative ambience through Ableton. I would love to be able to add this breakbeat to the music! I would 100% credit you if you're cool with it! Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you!
My love for this channel and it's content is ever-growing! Greetings from Argentina
Thank you very much for your kind words and support! I really appreciate it! We got more contents on the way!!

You can totally synthesize the drum sounds instead of using a sample!
Why it cannot work after I replaced all the line objects into line~ in the Ac_Bass subpatch? (Sorry, I just watched that line~ video)

I am unable to increase the BPM ... it just glitches out.
