We have been in Armação de Pêra for 3 vacations of 4 to 6 weeks at the end of the low seasons, when there are fewer tourists... We liked its central location for exploring the area, and proximity to the A22 for long trips. We never had a bad restaurant experience, and without exceptions the service was always friendly.
Have been there twice this year and will be there again soon.
It's a GREAT location with lots of new developments happening!

My husband and I went there on our honeymoon in the 1980s ! Went back a few years ago our 3 sons. Such a huge change!
