On the second island and I have 2 tips: 1 - Don't upgrade your ring capacity because, as mentioned, when you max out your ring capacity you get the extra Boost. Use your Koco's to upgrade speed instead. 2 - For the first Titan, DON'T FIGHT HIM, just wait until he attacks you, parry and then use the Circle + Triangle finisher. Repeat until he dies.
@@BlueCrimson10 If you get smacked after losing all your rings, you 'die' and have to restart whatever mini boss fight or whatever you were doing. Additionally, if you are having trouble with a Titan fight and have minimum rings, you might have to restart the fight as your ring count drops when playing as super sonic, if it hits zero, poof, no more super sonic.
I actually really enjoy the auto combo as well as not having to worry about counter timing. Such an awesome game. I am on the last island and I just now figured out the ring dash thanks to you. That should have been in an early game tutorial or something. I do not recall anything at any point in the game telling you how to do the ring dash.
I learned the ring dash halfway through the first island, in a loading screen for a portal. It's got some good tutorials and ways to link different moves together too. It's great for someone like me that hasn't played a sonic game before.
yeah ring dash is in the load screens and training but its annoying. it says push left stick instead of press or click l3 which makes it a bit confusing
Thank you for telling us tips what we have to do before playing Sonic Frontiers that game looks great. I have been waiting Sonic frontiers so long and finally its out. I will play this game on my xbox series s. 🔥
You have to add one more thing I found out adding the infinite boost and the max boost u get MAX INFINITE SPEED (if u don't know how to get the infinite boost use the cyloop and draw the infinity symbol )
It probably was but the reason why it’s so easy is because there is this developer that’s apart of Sonic Team who hates difficulty, so expect nothing to challenge you in this game.
As a Devil May Cry player, I just laughed off the auto combo skill. "yeah haha, waste of skill points" Thanks for the tips, I haven't played a proper Sonic game since I was like 8 years old
you can’t unlock fast travel until you fully map out an island. the rails that lead from map thing to map thing are actually pretty handy when the full map has not been unlocked yet.
Havnt played a sonic game in a long time. And I must say. I got frontiers yesterday for my little boys bday. (Caught it on sale, like 20$ off. Lol. ) and I must say. We have had an absolute blast so far! And we are playing on switch. Nowhere near as laggy or broken as many Saif it was. Lol. Maybe updates fixed it. Idk.
@@teenageapple3788thanks for the clarification. I wouldn't say so however. If guiding someone how to walk in most games, it's not uncommon to hear "press up on the control stick" for example
bait, but anyway, you say that, and yet you have a P5R pfp, which is developed by atlus, who is literally owned by sega, who as you know, has and owns Sonic as their mascot. There’s even a Sonic costume for Morgana is P5 dancing. Not saying you should like sonic for those reasons, but when the game you have as your pfp is owned by the same people who own the game series you’re trashing on, and even endorses said game franchise inside of in game collabs, it looks kinda weird
Another tip: If you cyloop and make a figure 8, you'll temporarily have infinite boost
I thought you were joking, this is awesome!
We are going UP, OVER, and GONE!!!!!!!!
Everybody knows that
@@marcusthepastownerofspidereeze kinda impossible tho since everyone hasn't played or probably hasn't watched a video on the game yet. Lol

Is there a reason to upgrade ring capacity, then?
@@BlueCrimson10 gameplay wise no. But there’s a trophy associating with maxing it out
@@BlueCrimson10 yes it gives you more Hits before you die so that helps if you're reckless and also if you can't pick up your rings fast enough

Thanks for this, and thanks for your channel. You were the reason I started mine.
Aww that's awesome! Good luck! ☺️
the right dash was the only move i didn’t know how to do! thanks for showing me! 😁
Quick note about auto combo, it does less damage when it is on, so it’s up to you how you wanna approach that
Also, you can activate infinite boost via drawing a infinite symbol with the cyclone on the floor
Tomorrow I will play this game for my switch
Tomorrow you will be found dead at 6:45pm.
That counter tip made the game SO much easier! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much I can now finally do the ring dash in sonic frontiers

cant wait for steam version to release 🤩
Sonic is back baby!!
Wow. Counter tip and auto combo will help a lot. Thanks!
I wonder if it's possible that the lack of timing required for the parry is actually an oversight...
I don't think so, pretty sure one of the tips said you don't have to time it.
That loop of rings spawner, looks an good tip! 👌
0:40 it kinda was
Light dash was most definitely explained
Ground Pound is Called "Stomp" and it's introduced since Sonic Unleashed
Thanks!
BRO I DIDN'T KNOW THE LAST ONE TYSM
The last tip definitely is going to be helpful. Didn’t know you could hold it.
Good video bro !
Wow, sounds like the counter system is completely broken.
My copy came in early so I’ve literally been playing it all day. It’s actually pretty fun
The fact that auto combo as skill exists means that this game was made for everyone ESPECIALLY beginners to the sonic franchise.
@@GothamThotSlayer Yes
Appreciate the shoulder button tip

I've actually learned that you can drop dash by triple jumping (I have the Switch version)
You a real one for this! Just changed my entire fighting style up
Kinda sucks that you don't have to time your parry, would have been a nice little thing that required the player to develop some skill.
The map opening at 2:41 reminds me of what happens when you collect enough Cat Shines in _Bowser's Fury_ to open up the next area
As a Devil May Cry player, I just laughed off the auto combo skill. "yeah haha, waste of skill points"

2:53 but what do i do with the challenges that involve big metallic rings? i.e M-018?
You can look up the challenges if you struggle
@@getwrecked3243 i ended up doing that. very helpful.
I'm almost at the end, and I thought I understood how to do the ring dash. I see I was wrong... 😃Ty!
I didn’t know you could use counters for those Spinny things did they name those yet
Can you remap controls on console
Anyone get their sonic adventure 2 shoes promo dlc yet? Or just wait till tomorrow?
Auto combo reduces the damage though. That's why I left it off so that I can finish off bosses quickly.
I’m barely gonna fast travel because exploring is the fun part
you can’t unlock fast travel until you fully map out an island. the rails that lead from map thing to map thing are actually pretty handy when the full map has not been unlocked yet.
Jesus Ring dash is pressing down on the left controller toggle? It was O in the other games
How do you light speed dash on nintendo switch
What was this captured on?
Yuh I keep clipping while boosting even got hit through the ground 😢😂

The game was never broken on switch people just like to lie about it because “haha switch” memes
I’m so glad that you don’t have to time your parry
i still don't understand how to make my graphics like that? they look like the lowest quality on my switch
You see, the switch ain't graphically as strong as the PS 4/5 and Xbox One/Series X
Not gonna lie, the counter not requiring timing is kinda lame.
For light dash do you click in the stick or press down?? The wording seems a bit odd here without having played it
Arent those the same thing?
Click it. Press/Click are interchangeable when it comes to the stick buttons
@@MirruArcade "Pressing down" sounds like tilting it in the south direction, but I'm pretty sure they mean to say clicking it

the drop dash doesn’t work like 80% of the time for me I play on PS5 and sometimes it works and mostly it doesn’t anyone else have this?
You have to press 3 times and hold it on the 3rd
5:10
Okay, but some enemies can't be countered
Thiis looks like Ps5 gameplay, i swear you guys said you would be doing your reviews and gameplay videos using switch captured footage?
I kinda don’t like how the boost is mapped to the right trigger, because you have to take your finger off it to shift right with the bumper
I…didn’t know Sonic was a parry master. The guy should play dark souls xD
God i want this game so bad
pro tip: stay cautious to not catch shadow's ligma
The so called ring dash actually called the lightspeed dash
Really wish the game told us about ring dash but I guess not
It does tell you in an early tutorial. That's how I learned at least.
Light speed dash*
Auto combo cringe.
Should have said Sonic speed instead of Uber fast
It's a stomp, not a ground pound.
🤓
😂😂😂😂😂😂
They should let only sonic creator do this
Its an stomp move from Forces

upgrade ring capacity
Just for future preferences, sonic doesn't ground pound he stomps
