We explore this abandoned mansion with everything left behind.
We arrive in the charming mediterranean country of Italy, in search of its forgotten places…
After exploring our local village and a full day of failed locations, we finally find what we are looking for, this wisteria covered 19th century mansion sits in the very heart of a traditional village
.
This was once the home of a prominent Italian family, with a military background. Their wealth allowed them to adorn this house with beautiful artwork, although time now takes its toll.
A private prayer room remains perfectly preserved, now a shrine that continues to show dedication to their religion.
It remains fully furnished, exactly the way the family left it all those years ago, taking us way back in time.
A true forgotten gem we are so thankful to have visited…

Unbelievably beautiful! I can't imagine why some distant relative didn't sell the furniture. It would be worth a fortune! So sad to see it decay.
Hi Sam n Jess another great explore this room has some strange art work built in I can't think of what it is called but it is so sad that it was left to get in this shape.
Beautiful place the ceilings and furniture loved it thanks for the adventure 👣🌞
Great location, looks like a beautiful place. The realistic silver paintings that looked 3d are called trompe l'oeil, litterally 'decieving the eye' in French.
Amazed how intact the furniture and contents are, that the houses visitors seem more vandals and squatters than theives, odd that only one fireplace seems to have been stolen...
It's almost a crime to let this beautiful house just decay. The beds and the bedrooms the carved wood is amazing. Thank you for taking us to these places.
Loved this one. What a find! Thanks guys. Much love! 🤗💜😁🥰
Gorgeous house, I bet if someone went through a those papers that are on the floor they would find something really interesting like Jess said maybe about the Titanic, I think she said there was a paper from 1909, that's so old, should be in a museum lol I'm always amazed and puzzled as to how so much of a family's belongings get left behind, such beautiful and really expensive furniture too.
No Words Guys! All I could say is, WOW! And grunt. Beautiful, Beautiful.
If any plant has to take over a building...I can’t think of anything more beautiful than this wisteria!!!💜💜💜
Great explore 👌
I love these beautiful sealings and the old decay fireplaces. Very nice!
What a Beautiful home, all that Gorgeous furniture going to Waste, thank you Sam n jess loved this ❤ 🙏👏👏👏
great video guys what an amazing place loved the ceilings and floor tiles what a big place such a shame it's left like that, really loud though right next to the road and I cud hear people chatting outside, looking forward to Karl's video of this place bet it's a spooky one 👍 well done brilliant explore thanks for sharing 👍🤘💖 take care guys as always looking forward to the next xx
Fantastico!! I enjoyed this explore so much, what a beautiful home. Grazie Sam and Jess! Xx
I wonder whether the more plain single bedroom downstairs, near the phone might have been a cook/housekeepers room. They must have needed some staff in that big place.
Great explore. Thankyou for showing us.
This beautiful Mansion was a Treasure...Sad that some Rooms were badly trashed tho...Great start for the Italy Trip, Sam&Jess!...Any chance you may Visit Venice??...First "Under Water" Explore!..Take Good Care!...🤗❤🌹!...
Looks like somebody has been in the strewing papers and stuff around looking for valuables or money. That's a beautiful place. I'd move in, scrape the walls, repaint, clean everything. put up new wallpaper and re-stain the wood. That place is too nice to be left to rot. Sam, you and Jess pick the best places to explore. Love it man.
What an incredible manner! I didn’t want it to end. It literally looks like they left with the clothes on their backs. What made them flee? That was beautiful! Astonishing furniture and paintings on the walls ceilings. So much that could be in a museum. I don’t understand why you would flee and not take like your family tree at least. Must’ve been a dire situation to get out in a hurry to leave it all behind. So sad really. They obviously worked hard for what they obtained. Thank you guys so much! I really enjoyed this one. OK OK I say that on all of them, but this one was really special. So interesting to see the different cultures in the way they decorate. A lot of this was reminiscent of France I think. Thank you for all the details Jess. You guys stay safe and sending you lots of love and sweet vibes from California🕊😎🤟🏻🇺🇸
This place is gorgeous 😍. I love all of the antiques and memories that are left behind. Thanks for sharing 👍😊😀🙂🙏. I especially like the wisteria growing outside my favorite. Take care 👍😊😀🙂💕💜
What a fantastic place, this would make a beautiful family home with the lovely furniture. I would love that sewing box that was in the hallway. Love your choice of background music and the way you are so passionate about the places you visit .... thank you for showing us these places xx

Liked the vlog from Margaret P from UK
So beautiful. Thanks
Thanks Jess and Sam for another wonderful explore. This was a thoughtful visit, I had the impression of a beautifully decorated home but it didn't seem happy to me. For example, I didn't see a dining room that invoked memories of good meals and good times together. One of the bedrooms had numerous large mirrors and if you check the Chinese art of feng shui, this is one of the worst ways to decorate a bedroom, it doesn't support restful sleep or intimacy. The long hallways and connecting doors to rooms reminded me of the layout of a French chateau, and Sam made a comment about a room having a French feeling to it. This layout enabled servants to navigate the building easily and people in the rooms can exit two different ways. But personally I dislike the feeling of how this makes you move through a house and each room is separated. I think it would impact the mood of the people living there.
Fabulous place..I love the metal radiator cover
Sam and Jess, thank you once again for an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL video and taking us along on your journey. As I've said before, I love your enthusiasm, passion, care, love and TOTAL RESPECT you both have for all properties and the family's of the properties. Please stay safe. Much love from Oergon USA 🇺🇸 😊💞

Abso lootly love your content at the moment. Fare do's to you guys.
Love the buildings you go to 🫶
So beautiful, so typical of Italian style, furnishings and beds. As a child I needed steps to get into the beds!!!! It would have been a very cold house in the harsh winters. Thanks sam&jess ❤️❤️
Beautiful place just love your videos get to see the area and old houses
So glad you are in Italy, I love this country and I’m intrigued ti see what you will find. The house of dust indeed! This place had beautiful little treasures throughout and as you said, each bedroom so different from one another…. Fascinating. Btw Jess, good on you with the driving, that is not easy, I would hate it 😮 hope you enjoy this trip. 🧡🧡
What beautiful house love it thanks jess sam
Totally excited to watch this xxx.
What a Gorgeous place!!!!
Beautiful furniture but not a place I'd want to stay for long....funny, heavy feeling watching the video.
Hellou guys! At 25:06 that's a heather still used today, sometimes was/is also used to bake bread and heat water! Love all you videos and all your trips! Much love from Portugal!

G'day all... Thank you so very much for this wonderful find.. Soo lovely but sad thinking no one wanted any of their possessions.. Your videos show soo much detail. Job well done. Take care and we look forward to the next adventure..💖🦘💖
Breath taking! What a shame a relative doesn't look after it. I'd love to live there . The antique furniture is great. Can't wait till you next explore. Love and light to you ❤
Awesome thank you both x
I love visiting Italy. I think that's granite around archways and fire place. Similar to marble but tougher.
I know where this is. :) Gorgeous little town. Great explore and video!
Hi Sam and Jess another country and more great videos to come.
This is a amazing place amazing architecture especially the ceiling full of history great explor 👍
love the adventures ❤️ and fun clips behind the scenes 😂 👍

Saludos desde México torreón coahuila felicidades excelente programa
It is sad to see this one continue to decay. Those ceilings were amazing, and much of the furniture magnificent. Sadder still, all the family photos left behind like that.
Amazing …thank you
Very nice !!
Beautiful 🏡
Amazing place!!
thanks for sharing ❤❤ stay safe love ya
It's beautiful
The oval porcelain picture of the old woman you picked up Jess is from a headstone I believe, probably had fallen off and they never put it back. The Italian cemeteries here in the states have them
wahhoooooo can't wait to see this guys looks well good, love the music 🎶 wonder where they went, shame it's another that's been abandoned but love that we get to benefit lol 🤣 see u in the premier guys 💝👍🤘much love xx
Beautiful
Great...💖
have a good one peace to you both xx
One word..STUNNING 😘
I wonder how long it’s been abandoned. Way back in the day it was probably beautiful. So sad it’s rotting away.
Fabulous house guys, I especially liked the beds, so beautiful 😍
I notice another bloke is often with you but I don't see him during the explores and he's not mentioned in the description of your channel ?
Thanks for the tour, I so look forward to your videos 🥰😘

Yes a premier coming up.
Was that tile on the floor in the main room?? I love how I you take your time viewing all the ceilings. You can go a little slower in the ceiling views, or other notable art pieces!
Like music
amazing you just don't stay long enough for vuers to see anything
Lovely explore, I always wonder how these wealthy and successful people end up dying and leaving their properties to fall into decay. I guess there's a story behind each one. Looking forward to more.
É eu gostaria mt de estar aí pra ver de perto seria o maximo
GRACIAS
Italy seems to have many such abandoned mansions, which were owned by the rich elite, now going to waste. This place at one time must have been beautiful, you can still see it's beauty, even after the decay, cobwebs and rot. See how the other half lived , right? Where are they now?
Sry guys only watched this vid today, had a bad week but as per you both took my mind off things for a while
Great vid tho, so much to see, exquisite furniture and deco, love valerie from Scotland xxx
Me too Valerie, hope next week is better for both of us xx
@@Carol...... thank-you ever so much Carol, I'm praying 🙏 for us both,
Although I'm sure sam~n~jess will help us along with the brilliant video 📹 they keep putting out, much love from Scotland xxx
Oh God that food looks so good.
That place is beautiful!
Então vcs devem achar umas coisas bem cabulosas nessae casas tão antigas né?
Have u guys figured out yet what that wooden gothic arch shelf thingy is that keeps appearing in these houses? This one had it, and several other recent properties had it and you wondered what it was. One hung on the wall in an outbuilding and had a lightbulb in it. 🤔
Maybe the house was raided since its the office that looks to be trashed. Looking under floorboards maybe? That antique picture hanging up on the wall in the room with all the magazines looks pretty mean.
When I was younger my mum's parents lived in Dublin and would bring their white fiat with them to visit us in North Yorkshire, we used to call it the " flint stones fart machine " the engine was in the back
Hiii, cool channel. Are you brother and sister? You look like brother and sister.
At 25:52 the newspaper headline states the Japanese Troops besiege Singapore 8 February 1942.
💙💙
You've only gone and blown the bloody fuse 😂
That has once been nice furniture .
be mindful of bed bugs in these places . A villa we stayed in in italy was infested
TS 24:21 you weren't alone

Sam you don’t have a thank you button icon for us Phone users. Also I was thinking that your voice would be perfect for reading on the Calm app! Another avenue of income. You would be perfect for it!!!
They don't come back to get it if not the need to lock it up
They dont get it I would
hey sam & jess in sum of your explores ive noticed bad browning stains in some beds just to let you know if your not aware this is where someone has died and the body starts to decompose.
Or - it could be rust stains from the springs ( that were usually in old mattresses) caused by moisture.
Nobody died in that bed, there are the heirs, they left the property to go and live elsewhere. 🇮🇹

Sad that people worship that book, spend their lives believing a lie "fairytale" just to die and find out there is no god
A sadder scenario would be that you die and discover that the God you've forsaken your whole life is, in fact real! I pray that doesn't happen to you.
