I ran a Hein-Werner C 12 and a C 14 in the 79s digging basements and sewer lines. Good to see the machine run again.

I think he actually gets most of them done with a notable exception being the 50s Autocar. I'm pretty sure he's waiting on the body shop to finish the cab, or he's working on sourcing a replacement?

Matt Completes most of his projects. He just doesn't show everything. These guys have alot on their plates with their normal work then on top of that they have to edit hours of video that they record. They do it by themselves too. And to add one more thing, they work normal jobs like the rest of us. These guys stay busy.

Nice find wayne, those are kinda rare actually. HW didn't make excavators very long, and primarily used DD engs. I was told by a bunch of experienced old timers on the Heavy Equipment forums that almost all the parts on these are "Generic" and can be found. Only certain things is Specific to HW. I've always wanted a C12-HD.

Heh heh, after the bleeding of impure juices in the crankcase, I'm surprised that 6v53 started and ran that well!😄 The bee war was entertaining. I'm glad we don't have to deal with as many of those out west here. Considering what you were working with, and how long it sat, I'm surprised it made it out with only one broken hydraulic hose. Not too bad at all.. and it even starts from the cab! That's a real plus.😂👍

Beer and heavy equipment is fine as long as you know what the hell you're doing and you don't get too blitzed. This one morning at the beginning of covid, I cracked open a Bud at like 9:00, and by 11:30 I'd drank eight of them with no sign of slowing down. Oh what a buzz - like when I was a kid... Felt like shit after a few hours, and for the rest of the day. Wakin' and bakin' with beer is a thing!
