Try applying your products for your wash n go in the shower while your hair is soaking wet for the best results. It made a world of difference for me . But your results are beautiful, I love how you’re embracing your natural hair ❤️
When I saw you cut your hair.. That was the last straw.. My relaxed hair was healthy and thriving coz I followed your channel.. But I got bored of relaxed hair ..so I was at the market and there was a barbershop next to it... I just bought my apples.. Walked into the shop.. Cut my hair and came out😂😂😂😂just like that. So I'm excited for your new hair routine. 🙌🙌🙌
I've been natural for about 8 years... I'm going relaxed in a few weeks. I enjoyed the time that I was in a way. Natural hair is TIME CONSUMING!!! Now it's f😮ck that shit o'clock!!! #ReclaimingMyTime. Pass me the creamy crack! Good luck on your journey! Side note: it's going to be VERY important to figure out if your hair is high or low porosity. Then research people that have the same porosity and similar curl pattern. Free Game! Took me years to figure out that was the real key. I think your hair maybe high porosity🤔... Appears to have absorbed that product quickly unless that was editing. Again good luck!
Do what works for your lifestyle. I've been natural 10 years. It has had its challenges, but after getting over the 7 year mark, I would never get my hair relaxed again. Caring for two competing textures with different needs (kinky roots needing water and straight ends needing protein) was a struggle I never want to deal with again. I don't want to worry about keeping up with protein treatments or extra damage from color, chlorine, salt water or flat irons.I don't want to stretch washing my scalp in the hot weather. I don't want thin hair that I have to curl to get texture or volume. I prefer the versatility of silk presses for temporary straight hair and soft curly fros on the regular.
Minimal Assembly I actually texlaxed it... My life has changed dramatically. I might go back completely natural when I’m older 50 or so. But this was the best decision I’ve made with my hair in a long time. To each it’s own. My wash days are super short! I still have time to live my life. I don’t have to spend a whole weekend Washing, detangling and styling. Also not looking like somebody’s Auntie:)
Looks great! I am just trying out the 24K gel and will get the leave-in to pair with it. My advice would be to not use the Denman for wash n go's, as it creates more of a frizzy Afro. At least for my 4a/4b texture. Use your fingers to define + detangle. Or use a paddle brush. Also, work on soaking wet hair AND use a very hydrating protein-free conditioner to help the curls come out. My hair frizzes when it is dry from buildup, too much oil or too much protein. Either way, clarified hair with a moisturizing deep conditioner should solve that, assuming you don't have damaged straight ends from heat. You look like a 3C/4a but hard to tell until your texture gets more hydrated.
My hair is just like yours, I’m glad that I found you and my hair is a tad bit longer but I still struggle with my curls popping as well. Im going to have to try a wash and go now!!
I think you should get clips to help you section it off & that way it’ll be easier for you & you can focus the product on each strand to help define the curl more
I love this! I’ve been debating whether to do the big chop, my relaxed hair is healthy but I want to try something new, and the fact that u did the big chop on my birthday was a sign lol. I’m gonna cut it soon! Thanks for the inspiration! Please keep the videos coming!
Maybe your hair type will be 3c/4a like a lot of people once it grows out. Also the Soft as Can Be conditioner from the Mane Choice is really good! I love that brand!
Hi! I am a new to your tube. I started watching you guy just before you got your hair color. I am sorry that you had to cut it off. But the short hair really looks good on you. Actually your hair is already starting to grow really quickly. I remember my first hair color similar stories, my hair was shoulder length. I went to a Professional Salon, got my hair done, but she never told me to keep my hair moist because the bleach will really dry out my hair. My first wash after my bleach and color, my hair drop out the way your hair came OMG. It was a sunday, had to go to work the next day, luckly a friend hook me up with her hair dresser, who did it at her house, got my hair cut, it grew back really quickly. To make a long story short. I bleached it again. But this time I got some very cheap cooking oil (1.2.3 vegetable oil) from the grocery store, every morning and evening I satuated my hair with the cooking oil until it was sealed. To be on the safe side I actually satuated my hair with cooking oil for one month. It worked, every time I bleach my hair, I would satuate my hair with oil until it seals. Then I flut it. I am hypertensive and on medication so my is not as thick as it used to be but it is thick.
@@Ilovecheesecakebaby My hair is a lot like yours, with more curl in the front. I think 4b/4c, but it doesn't really matter with those letters. It's type 4.

Hey, girl. Quick tip, when using the denman brush curve your wrist to enhance your curls. Also, use more products. I hope that helps some!

I love mane choice
I think you are a mix of 3c and 4a. Once your hair gets longer you can tell better.
I was thinking 4b or 4c
It look really coily

Girl, get you some bentonite clay and some apple cider vinegar, mix it together, and watch them curls come the fuck thru.
What she said!!!
You have very beautiful natural hair.
When I was natural, eco styler gel worked for me.
