SD-card slot up to 1tb and 3.5 mm audiojack are a huge difference for me. I would have bought Pad 5 or 6 if they'd had these features. I can comfortably watch movies with a good wired headphones with Redmi pad pro.

Correction: You cannot access your Poco phone from your Pad. Verified with Poco F5 and Xiaomi Pad 6 (both on HyperOS). HyperOS for Poco is missing the interconnectivity features.

As a research Scolar and bibliophile, my best companion is my OnePlus pad. Its has the perfect aspect ratio for reading books, 144hz display, 67W charging, seemles 5G connectivity with my OnePlus phone, super performance without even turning one the performance mode and awesome speakers.

I bought a Lenovo Xiaoxin pad pro 12.7 inch for 200rmb cheaper than this. Snapdragon 870, better screen, superb Harmon Kardon speakers, pogo pin connector for the keyboard and place for stylus to attach. Also usb3.2. Lenovo's tablets in China usually offer better price to performance ratio
This time the comparison was not done correctly. It was to be compared with the redmi pad (the original). It cost 16k with no stylus support and a lot less performance. If the pro version comes within 20k then it's definitely an upgrade. And Xiaomi Pad 6 needs to be compared with the above 20k laptops (another category of computing)

If 2K, 4K, 8K was already bullshit terminology, then 2.5k is an even more stupid naming scheme. TLDR - its a 2k/1440 display with 16:10 aspect ratio It is not really debatable as it is a made up naming scheme because it can either be 1. Started from 3840 x 2160 being 4k, because it had 4 times the pixels of 1080p, and 1440 was a middle ground of both so 2k (On a side note this makes 8k stupid because it has 4 times the pixels of 4k, should've been 16k) 2. Then they came up with 16:10 aspect ratio screens to remove bottom bezel in laptops. It had no increased ppi just a 1440p extended to 16:10. 3. Manufacturers are coming with 1800p displays (like samsung book 4) and calling it 3k because its between 1600p and 2160p 4. Others started advertising 1600p displays as 2.5k to make up for the 3k bullshit. Here 1600p is a good aspect ratio as it keeps the pixel density of 1440p, which is a standard pixel density, so websites will work well, and UA-cam videos can be seen in 1440p with black bars on top and bottom (kind of a problem for lcd tablets? we need cheap amoled tablets soon! ) On the other hand those higher resolution like 1800p is absolutely bullshit because you need to now watch it on 4k if you dont like 2k being blur But now your using 4k data and processing just to see it on a 3k screen. Even websites will have some layout problems. (There is also the BS of HD, FHD, QHD, UHD etc and some claims that its based on horizontal resolution, makes sense for 4k & 8k but that would make 1080p 2k because it has 1920 horizontal and then 1440p actually 2.5k - but that's too much argument over a fictional display naming scheme)

As much as i want to buy xiaomi's tablets i'm worried how the software will holdup in long term and app support. Samsung still hasn't managed to get many art and note taking apps onboard, atleast not fully and i've seen tablets been using more often by music students ( for sheet , small edits etc) so it is not that there aren't more use cases, android on tablets is not that flexible yet
Just some questions/feedback: why not export in the aspect ratio of the video? Why the need to export at 16:9 with black bars? It just gives you black bars on ALL sides when viewing from a phone (or anything that isn't 16:9)
YT doesnt allow things like end screens to be added when uploading native 21:9... given the video resolution is 4k, and your phone (unless you are on an xperia 1) is lower res... pinch to zoom and you'd get the resolution and minimal black bars - that's the work around right now :(

Just bought redmi pad pro Harry Potter limited edition. Bought it for the screen size and because it is Harry Potter.. only using it for entertainment, streaming.. the best xiaomi pad for me is the pad 5 which my 2 daughters each have but i learned a lot from ur video. Thanks
