I hate to make comparisons, but the amount of emotion and soul in his voice, and the way he connects runs reminds me so much of Chris Stapleton. Truly an amazing vocalist and his songs are incredibly moving. I haven’t heard one song that I couldn’t put in repeat and listen to.

Listening to this song reminds me of my divorce 23 yrs aho when he couldn't tell me WHY...I guess some things I'll never know...brought back memories of utter sadness and hurt. Still makes you realize some people don't know why they do what they do to others.

I lost both my bio dad and mom in 2021. Completely different scenarios and divorced since I was 5. Dad decided life wasn't worth it and then my mom died of natural causes 9 months later. Neither lived to 60....thats my goal now... Live to 60 for my kids. Life has been dark on and off since then. Songs get me by since I can't relate to anyone in my situation. This song hits home... Some things are too hard to reconcile, but this song gives me a little solace in the meantime. Keep it up sir. Much appreciated!
