My review after using the same arm for a year : build quality is still sturdy, didn't notice any rusting. Only note of caution is that if you are using one of those IKEA tables that's hollow inside, the clamp tend to sink into the table due to the weight of the monitors or the tightness of the clamp.
@@old_H LINNMON. When you read their description of their filling material, you'll understand why : Honeycomb structure paper filling (min. 70% recycled). Top and bottom is fibreboard
I got the version with one arm and used it for my 22 inch monitor tablet. Used it for like 2 years now no rusting or noticeable wear and tear damage, also you can tilt the monitor up and down 75 degree i think its just super stiff if you dont break it in. Absoulutely enough for me to draw on the monitor/graphic tablet on the propped desk or while standing up with the monitor slightly elevated from the desk. For the wobble its acceptable even the ergotron wobble a bit since we cant cheat the law of physic unless you bolt it on stone table or something.
Used to use a table mounted arm (of a different brand) but after changing to a wall mounted table, decided to use a wall-mounted arm instead. Got 2 of the F150 and the quality seems really good. It's holding my rather heavy DELL ultrawide screen quite fine. The max load for F150 is 10kg and my monitor is 8.2kg. I've only been using for ~2 months but it really does stay firmly and does not have any sign of sagging. It moves around swiftly too if I need to access the ports. Really highly recommended for the price (RM89 for F150, single arm wall-mounted).
As much as how I love the perks of using an arm mount, the problem with the wobbles is a huge offset to me as I mostly play rhythm games like osu!, Muse dash and etc where you'll beat the shit out of your kb. The wobbliness is a lil bit too much of an annoyance to me so I end up not using it ever again.
Dayum. That's some hardcore keyboard smashing haha. So far they're rock solid for me, but like I said my monitors are quite light too. What do you use then? --Rory
@@soyacincautv Lenovo L22e-20(around 2.5kg) and my arm mount was NB F80. For the time being I'm still using the stand that came with the monitor but I do plan on getting a wall vesa mount later soon.
I have dell monitor arm at office, is definitely better than my NB monitor arm at home, both did the same job, it just dell arm more premium and alot more expansive.
hi rory recently i just bought an aqara smartlock A100, i would like to know more about smart home device will go along with this smartlock. exp smart switch, smart home assistant etc..
Hey! My samsung odyssey g5 wont stay in its place and keeps tilting :( I'm using the NB F160 is it too heavy? Which monitor mount should I get? Or should I get a different monitor?
What size/weight is your G5? If it's one of the bigger sizes, the preloaded setting might be too soft. Have you tried tweaking the adjusters? There's one for height (see 3:55), and another at the joint that connects to your VESA mount (you can kinda see it at the top at 4:11). --Rory

It seems that you can't put the monitors in an intermediate position, only either top, or bottom. Am I right?
Have you adjusted the spring tension to match the weight of you monitors?
