This is a great video! I feel so many resellers don't address this issue, every year I go through my inventory and pull items that aren't sellable anymore and re-donate them. That can be beneficial for tax time too. Keeps your inventory in check and I think you learn to be more selective for buying new inventory.
I agree 100%! I found items that I didn’t have listed 🤪 LOTS of items didn’t have a single view on eBay. It feels like a weight has been lifted 😅

Such a relatable video!! I was horrified when I did my taxes and realized I spent over $4000 on threadup last year. I’m sure I made all that back but those were a BAD business decision!

This is a great video and you’ve inspired me to make a video like this too. I have so many bad buys in my inventory and I’ve been cleaning out little by little in the last few months. I’ve been donating items and sending some in a thredup partner kit.

to be fair... a lot of that stuff was just really ugly ;) Though, of course, that's always subjective. I know this video is a bit older now, but there were a couple of items I think would actually probably sell in the next few months with the way trends are headed (and I keep a pretty close eye on fashion trends). But, it's impossible to hold on to everything and wait for it to 'come back around again'. I'm not a reseller at all, and even with my own clothes I don't hold on to (many) things, aside from more timeless pieces, just because I know that trends cycle. I don't want to fill every closet and room in my house with clothes, and that's exactly what would happen if I DID hold on to every item LOL
