I helped build many of those trails in that country and over buy bucks lake . I was actually trail boss for the dirtbike club for many years. Nice to see people enjoying them. Pretty much all the people that built those trails are too old ride Or have passed away. I was one of the main people That fought the forest service for taking a ride in right away in the National forest that was a battle. I think we lost like 3700 miles single track in The Plumas in Tahoe national forest. We had some wild single track and some of the best probably in the country but not anymore and we used to have a bunch on Sierra Pacific property but not anymore. Do you guys go over and ride the bicycle trail and go up it motorcycle people built that trail and we had officially registered with the forest service as a bicycle people try to kick it off I don’t know how it is today but they couldn’t can you kick us off those are trill officially. It used to be part of one of our loops so we would ride up the trail and we do our best to stay out of the way and bicycles arson have somebody ahead Warning bicycles but every once in a while bicycles are so out of control you can completely be stopped trying to stay out of their way and then watch one hit you then you can move your in a pile and then the next bike could come down and join the pile in the next it was pretty wild. Well I’m glad bicyclers love it it brings lots of money to the area which is a good thing. I was raised in the area my dad work for Caltrans took care of 49. Thank you for making a UA-cam video it was nice of you to take us a long . Nothing better to clear your mind and keep it healthy
Nice job! Love riding those trails but can be a workout. One of my biggest crash was on chimney rock trail my shoulder is still messed up. See you on the trails!
If you're plated lots of good camping. If you're not plated I'd suggest Union Flat campground cross hwy 49 and hit FR 93 to get you to the top and start the fun stuff.
@@boyersendeavors7993 Sounds like you're in? Let's see how much snow this week storm brings. If it's too much it won't be rideable until next year which I'll make sure you're on that text message.
there is a reason there are rocks across the cut through at 16:49 stay on the trail! don't be a jack ass ! we need to show everyone that the moto community does the right thing... just sayin.

@LBRides Thanks for the info! I do have a not plated crew but we will make it work. I'm guessing July to October is the best time to ride?
@ Yes. We usually go last weekend in October less trail traffic and chance of rain to make
It perfect.
Never been up this way. I've done downie river trail, which is....interesting.
Amazing trails and views. Would love to ride there one day.
Let's do it! You'll only need to get here as I'll have a bike for you. We'll get Dan and Martin to go.
I had to smoke a cigarette after watching that one....
We didn't get up that high when I went with you. There was waaaay to much snow. lol
Ha it was a blast and we figured out the loop for next time.
When is the next time?

Which trail(s) have the abrupt cliffs/drop offs to the side so I can avoid those? 😂
