The Truck is Amazing but it does need a way better Exhaust!
So lets see what kind of Exhaust it will be in the end!

I’ve had Borla ATAK and I’ve had Corsa. Both quality but serve different purpose. If you want loud growl and pops and cracks all the time go Borla. If you want loud only when you accelerate aggressively, and a low rumble otherwise then go Corsa. For a daily driver, I choose Corsa. Makes my Yukon 6.2 Jekyl and Hyde. Smooth tone cruising but wicked mean when I trounce on it.
Guys, don't take this guys opinion on the Corsa verbatim. I installed Borla Touring on my 6.2, and wasn't crazy about the sound, just a deep tone, almost like I just hacked a muffler off.
I swapped it out for the Corsa Sport, and what a difference in tone. The truck now has attitude and sounds more like a late model vette than a truck.
I agree, if you want loud af, then it's not the one, Borla Atack is the loud and obnoxious exhaust. But it is by no means quiet, and has a really nice tone. For me, I wouldn't want it any louder. But that's why they make different flavors of ice cream.
All I'm saying is do some research before deciding against it.
I love the Corsa Sport. My truck sounds killer and I've gotten several compliments. Just my 2 cents.
Great reply for sure. Different strokes for different folks. I’m more of a loud exhaust guy. I want people to know I did work to it.
@@Uninfluenced dude my Corsa on my 2017 6.2 wakes up the dead on cold start. It sounds amazing and I couldn’t be happier with it.
These new 5.3L/6.2L engines have an updated fuel management system called "Dynamic Fuel Management" or DFM which drops cylinders from 8 to 1 cylinder to save fuel consumption. The new system has the ability to drop all the way down to 1 cylinder at cruising low torque speeds as opposed to the previous 2018 "Active Fuel Management" or AFM which dropped only half it's cylinders from 8 to 4 cylinders to conserve fuel. Try adding a DFM delete module made by Range Technology so you can review the Corsa Exhaust system firing all 8 cylinders all the time.
I heard they were having an issue with the Range plug in working on the new 6.2 w/ 10 speed trans. Soon as I hear it's figured out I'm getting one, for sure.
I added the Corsa to my 2017 6.2. and LOVED it. I’ll be getting a new 2021 6.2 soon and I’ll be adding the Corsa.

I love my Corsa exhaust on my 2020 Ram Rebel . Best money I ever spent on my truck . It’s a gentlemen’s exhaust to my ears . It’s quiet when you want it but a beast on hard acceleration . I’m going to agree with you!! I saw everyone hyping corsa up... even the UA-cam clips seems exaggerated. When I threw it on I thought something was wrong. Sounds good at cold start. That’s it or maybe WOT but nothing impressive. I enjoyed my old flowmasters better... thanks wish I would of seen this before I threw a grand at it.

I have 2020 5.3 and decided to do muffler delete after seing a couple of videos and it just sounding stock. Sounds amaizing on cold starts and with the deactivation at crusing you hardly hear it
Great choice.
I had Corsa on a 2012 4.8 Silverado and it sounded evil compared to that. My 2019 Trail Boss has Borla Type S which rocks under load - zero drone on Hwy.

The borla atak sounded way better outside. No drone. Had a very good sound.
Nice truck! I have a 2020 AT4 6.2 with the Borla ATAK catback and carbon fiber quad tips. A lil pricey because of the tips but it is worth the money. No drone and sounds like a truck now. Just waiting on my S&B CAI that’s been on back order since August 🤬🤬
Yeah the intake will give it a little more sound. Great choice for sure.
I would choose the Corsa Sport system over the Borla Attack system, I like the fact that I can cruise at highway speeds with the Corsa without drone, and the sound is there when you step on the throttle. Don’t go off this guys review, do your own research and watch multiple videos on the exhausts. I’ve had both on my 6.2l Sierra as 6.2l High Country. I am now in a 2020 Sierra AT4 6.2l and I’m going to dish out the cash again for the Corsa Sport system. But to each his own, but I suggest you do the extensive research to see what exhaust is for you, but pay attention to the drone situations.
The cat back Atak has no drone. The $700 mics I use show the difference. And the many people that have thanked me. Even Corsa reached out and said their exhaust is meant for the older crowd. So 🤷🏻♂️
No drone on any BORLA system FYI
I've always had good luck with Magnaflow. Did a full catback on my Navigator and it sounded amazing. I've always thought Corsa was a little overpriced hype.

A quarter of a exhaust installed and we are reviewing emotionally in depth. Do a real exhaust man stock headers, 3 catalytic converters from a 2 1/2 to a 3” catback. You must be new to Locomotives.
Should check out the magnaflow system on mine. I was skeptical about it at first but it actually sounds good, has a good deep tone and is throaty when you get into it. Not quite but not loud either.. also have the k&n black hawk intake and you can definitely hear it.
I got another really big brand that reached out to me. They shipped theirs out today and actually want a real review they said please no BS

I really like your video and commentary. So I was in between this exhaust and the Borla S Type. Let me tell you the Borla S Type is not a waste of money. Its mean and growls and is great at highway speeds. You should take the Corsa off and install the Borla S type and do a review. You will have a totally different opinion I promise I have a 2020 RST w 6.2 and am so glad I did not go with the Corsa!

Different engine setup. The 6.2 changed with the new body and so did its sound.
The cylinder shut down is the problem on these newer engines. My old ‘16 Z71 Silverado 5.3 with Corsa was amazing. Get a tuner, delete that shit and problem solved. Emissions laws sucks man.

Hey I got a huge question you can help me with,I wanna buy the borla atak system but they only make them for the 143.5 wheelbase,I see Corsa model works for both models the 143.5 and the 153 wheelbase which I have,I see Corsa included a little pipe to make it work for the longer wheelbase model,do you think I could make the borla atak work for me by mimicking the little extender pipe ? I really don’t wanna waste my money on exhaust unless it’s gonna be loud and throaty
Call borla. They make it for both. It’s a different part number. They are super helpful when you call them direct.

Yeah you could measure and get the extension made at a muffler shop. You will love the exhaust.
Real Talk With Matt I sure hope,I was so close to ordering it and then I watched your video again and decided I had to make the borla work,and besides like you said,that muffler is big and goofy looks like a old metal garbage can,the corsa they make for 153 comes with what looks like is a 12 dollar extension,I’m just hoping the mounts line up and all I end up needing is the extension,let us pray 😂
Real Talk With Matt update: I got my exhaust today and I have a 153 wheel base,and they only make it for the 143.5 wheel base,I went to my local auto parts and got a 3 1/2 extension pipe that was 12 inches long and it worked perfect,that’s the only difference,of course my catalytic converters clamp broke trying to get it off,idk why borla don’t provide you with a new one,but exhaust is one and sounds great so far,I wish it was just a tad louder,maybe in time it will wake up more

I feel like the video was partly a waste because you can hear the background music over the exhaust sound. The video would be a lot better if you didn’t have the background music over the exhaust sounds.
I've had Corsas on 2 Vette Z06, couple of Tahoes, and a couple of Silverados. I now have a 20 Sierra and was thinking about getting another Corsa. I've always loved them. I wonder if they changed anything since 18? I love the fact that there is no drone in the cab, I don't like it super loud inside. Does it get throaty at all when you stomp on it?
Compared with o the borla it’s like a stock 2018 Chevy 6.2. The borla sounds amazing. That’s what why Chevy used them to build the exhaust you can add from stock. And Shelby uses borla. Corsa told me they prefer making their older clients happy.

Yeah my Corsa Extreme on my 2015 6.2 was always something to hear. No drone inside but always aggressive outside and insane under acceleration. They did something to this new system or the cats are really restricting flow. Corsa on my c7 z06 is next.

There isnt anything to “break in” lmao. There is no packing. It’s a chambered muffler. Take off the factory resonator that everyone thinks is a “3rd cat” is you want it to be obnoxious and have drone. Lol. I love my Corsa catback on my 2008 Sierra Denali.
There is no factory resonator left if you do the true cat back.
Every muffler still has a break in. Contact any manufacturer they will tell you that unless running straight pipes.
Take that big cat up front off it will help.
Pull that big ass Cat off it will make you happier. These trucks have 3 cats my truck has ZERO.
