Hello, I was in USA on B2 visa. my visa was going to expire but before that I applied for a b2 visa extension now my case is pending since November 2022 . Can I file for a student visa now?
And with student visa should I also need to apply for b2 visa extension again to maintain my status?

Hi sir, I came to the us in 2016 with my younger sister and we were to be adopted by family friend who is a us citizen . Today , we received news from the lawyer following up the adoption that we need to go back to our country and continue the process from there. We have overstayed the visa for about 3 years. What is the right thing to do to get my citizenship from here? Given the fact that there’s war in my country at the moment and it will be risky to go back

I have a question, I am a us citizen and I married my husband in his country of Egypt, we applied for him to have a visitor's visa cause right now I can't afford a marriage based visa. He ended up over staying his visa by one month now cause my sister and I were on our way to take him to the airport until we got into a serious car accident and my husband along with myself and sister got seriously hurt. My husband suffered two broken legs and a broken arm and wasn't able to fly home. I was told that since he overstayed his visa that he would not be approved for a change of status to stay a little longer until he is healed enough to go back home. What do we need to do?

I live in Spain, currently have the ESTA visa waiver.
My mom is a natural born U.S citizen but didn't report my birth to the U.S embassy.. Can I apply for a green card while in the U.S?
I'm entering through the airport and will have my passport stamped by a bored agent. I'm curious if that will help with adjusting status once in the United States.

My girlfriend and I are not looking forward for her to go back to her country Once her J1 visa expires and us living far away from each other. Is there anyway for her to stay in the US after her visa expires. Me being a Legal US green card holder, is there anything I can do to make her legal in the US and stay for good?

I never commit a crime in UK during my stay and I came back to my country with a travel permit from my embassy. It was 1 year ago. Now I got married with a US citizen. Does my immigration history in UK affect my immigration visa for USA? I am confused.....Shall I apply or not?

Do US universities care for potential student's visa status (if it expired or not)? Like let's say my F-1 visa has already expired but i am still in the US and i wish to take other classes to keep my legal status. So, question is would universities have questions about my current visa or they would not care?

I am a US citizen my husband and I married before him entering the US he is here on a H2A visa and it expires in November, we started the process but due to covid we still have no response and he hasn’t been issued a work permit through adjustment of status, my question is if his visa expires and he overstays will we still have to apply for a waiver no matter how long he has overstayed?

Hi, in the last five years, I've lived in the us, sometimes overstaying my tourist visa, and have left and come back, and have never been denied entry, I've not left the country since my last I-94 expired, would it be possible for me to apply for a marriage based adjustment of status?

I have been in the USA since 2016. I left my ex ( we were Not married but we had 2 kids that are us citizen) . I left him due to domestic violence. I was in DV shelters for over a year. Had to face him in trial. I filed a U Visa in 2017. I am still waiting. In 2019 I got married to a US citizen and upon trying to go the marriage route for adjusting my status to get my green card , we were told the law has changed and that because I overstayed in 2016 I triggered a 10 yrs ban and that the waiver won't help me to stay here.and that they would detain me after the intetview!
I am a Canadian citizen but I am awaiting my u visa determination inside the usa... still and won't know till end of next year or 2022.
Do you know if the laws have changed with marriage and people like me who overstayed??? I don't want to get deported. I have never been deported and entered the us legally. All the advice I got was to wait to hear from my Uvisa because that forgives my entries and overstays. Any advice?
    Thank you kindly.

A 10 year ban is enforced if you went back home and trying to enter the US again. Once you remain in the US and married, as long as you entered the US legally you can adjust your Status through marriage. I'm not a lawyer but I have done my research

    • @NaturalNails4life
      @NaturalNails4life 4 роки тому

@@skayeb6491 I haven't exited the country and I married a American citizen but some of the lawyers I spoke with told me that some rules changed on the application because they ask you now if you have overstayed and I did. So they will basically deport me . If I lie to them and they find out I get deported for good. Trump changed a lot on the imigration you need to look it up. But basically it didn't do much being married so the lawyers I spoke with said my best chance is to wait for the U Visa. It's really confusing when no one can give you a straight answer. I came here legally with my canadian citizen passport but overstayed because I was in Dv shelters with my kids and my ex assaulted me and I had to face him in trial since the state pressed charges against him. That was in 2016.
Thanks for responding .. if you know something I don't let me know. Thank you

@@skayeb6491 it is just as puzzling to me . I came with a b2 visa and I was inspected too... and as a canadian I can stay for 6 months but because of my DV stuff I overstayed and I am telling you the application even with a us husband willing to sponsor doesnt mean anything ... because of that one question on the application the overstay. I will look it up and give you the info I am not home to look at it at the moment. Uscis says one thing but when you start the application process it's a different story... it sucks. I am just a domestic violence victim and want to be here legally to work and provide for my 2 us citizen kids . While their trash us citizen dad doesn't care at all. This system is so unjust and unfair. I am not a criminal yet the system makes it so hard for moms to get ahead here as immigrants.

Can I apply to get a EB Greencard if i'm out of status, I'm Civil Engineer, my work visa is expired, I did a lot of job experience here, i have a lot of request by client to design the project and significant achievement with the Engineers, as of now i notice that they really need this kind of my job, l have a lot of experience of Bridge design, urban planning which is a going on problem like now because of the expansion and no advance planning, piping lines design like water , i did a lot of city permit approval, i have created a lot of as built plan which is request by city engineers to get permit and approval, because the client don't have any records at city to provide, so i help the client to make an existing plan for their property, which include a site plan. thank you very much
