Then Gus Fring killed him and his entire bloodline. Wait, wrong franchise
In hawkeye he's the guy who seems evil at first but turns out he's actually pretty chill.
In better call saul he seems like a chill guy at first but he's actually the devil himself
What’s Jack Duquesne and Mac Gargan doing in that show?
@@ricardoortiz4870 he's doing werner zieegler
This guy is one of my all time favourite actors! He killed it in better call Saul and in Hawkeye, he’s so likeable and just oozes charisma
This character is the best. I hope they don’t send him down the wrong path like in the comics. He’s such a better hero
I rewatched the show and realized how many times he actually said aphorisms wrong in the first couple of episodes. He says like 3 different ones in the first episode.
I'm actually really glad he turned out to be good. I hope we get to see more of him in the future.
He looks entirely different from Lalo. Even his voice is different. It's like they aren't even the same actor.
His “hello sweetie” was enough to convince me he was innocent
I think he is becoming one of my favorite actors especially after seeing him on better call Saul he became my favorite villain on both shows better call Saul and breaking bad.
Eitri: "I present Stormbreaker, the most powerful weapon in Asgard's history"
Jack: "That is an axe, not a sword. No thanks."
He's basically me in Skyrim, so many weapons and the only ones I use are swords.
Maybe instead of him training Hawkeye, perhaps Jack can train our current Hawkeye! Love that idea.
From a scary and charming villain in Better Call Saul to a dork in Hawkeye.
Tony Dalton is so good.
That moment where your evil step dad is just a sword guy with quite bad timing.
Jack seems like the nice guy, really hope his variant in the multiverses are not the cartel boss who shot lawyer in the head. Bien Hecho man!!!
hes actually fucking hilarious 😂😂
that "hello sweetie" prevented my suicide, thanks tony.
I'm glad Kate apologized to Jack. I just wanted to give him a hug after all the suspicion.
Is... is Jack the best Dad in the MCU? Hear me out. He's a loving husband, he took the time to study how to be a better stepfather, he respects Kate's boundaries and is always empathetic, he engages in her interests (and tries to boost her self esteem by not trying to one up her), he becomes friends with Kate's friend AND he literally was immediately understanding & forgiving when Kate got him arrested.
well yes, but Scott Lang.
@@dsdy1205 I say he's right behind Ant-Man
I don't think I could put one over the other, but I feel that Jack and Scott would be amazing friends to have a series of their own. Adventures of Fatherhood, a tale of two chill dudes.
@@Deepingmind Maybe they could be a supproting cast for Young Avengers? Stature is in a new Ant-Man movie, Hawkeye (Kate) is already there, this team is almost ready.
@@sinistertwister686 That is an amazing idea!
I don't see him as Jack, i see him a Lalo Salamanca
This is all fun and great, but I thought it was interesting how Tony Dalton (Jack's actor) also plays Lalo Salamanca in Better Call Saul. In BCS, he's actually kind of a scary guy. But here, he's just happy to be involved in something. His range is insane lol.
They are both dapper, happy go lucky though in different ways.
Last episode of Season 6 part 1; yeah, he's way beyond just a scary guy.
What made this so great is that he is also Lalo. So people automatically suspected him of being evil. That's good casting.
I honestly don't feel like there was ever any reason to suspect Jack. I know they made him out to be, but it was so telegraphed. That said, he was my favorite character on the show, full of great characters. I love Jack. I don't want him to be overused, but I do hope we see him again.
The big suspicion came from his namesake. In the comic Jack (i.e. Jacque) is known as the Swordsman, an anti-villain who actually trained Clint in swordplay and weapons, so he was a big red herring.
@@benwasserman8223 as a non-comic reader, i'd say for most of us it was probably the sword being what killed him, the timing(right after eleanor being threatened), and the butterscotch from Armand's house
To be fair, Marvel does telegraph their villians all of the time. I had a feeling he was innocent though when he suggested playing Stratego.
@@benwasserman8223I do think he IS Swordsman, but right now,he doesn't do anything interesting yet....
@@benwasserman8223 the only thing I would have changed would have been Jack remembering running into Clint at a Circus for a really random reason and being a little hurt that Clint didn't think that the moment changed his life. lol
This is where Lalo went to when he died, a hell worse than we can imagine.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe.
MCU isn't the same after the infinity saga Imo
Jack: *Bought a cool sword for his collection*
Kate: "This is an Avenger-level threat"
Stole*
@@ohf27 Just buying but without the paying part
Everyone: Thats an eveners level threat
It's Lalo if he was given a sword and calmed down.
Lalo salamanca: when you face him as main villian.
Jack: when you unlock him as playable character.
To be fair, given the comics, Jack Duquesne being sus wasn’t that big a stretch - especially when you consider he was Clint’s mentor.
Now that is a holy f*ck moment. 2022 looking great so far.
Yeah, he and the original Power Man kept trying to straight-up murder Avengers.
LOL yeah but I doubt MCU jack will be a villian at any point he's just there to make you smile yes he's funny but he's such a nice well meaning guy who was genuinely excited to be Kate's step dad 😂😂
Everyone else : Blah Blah Blah Kate, Hawkeye, Jack
Me: What does Lalo Salamonca want with a sword? UH OH!
Rip Howard Hamlin.
Technically speaking he can be the swordmaster for the new Hawkeye if she ever needed more training on the sword 🗡️🗡️
this is the universe where Lalo called the hoover max guy instead of revenge
If Lalo Salamanca had a good heart
Now he's in the mcu, there really is nothing this Lalo guy can't do
Hes playing the long game
What’s Jack Duquesne and Mac Gargan doing in that show?
Lalo vs Thanos

Nice to see Lalo climbed out of the meth lab and escaped to the MCU. Leaving Howard behind
2:44 jack is having the time of his life
Kate: "So you're into fencing?"
Jack: "I dabble."
Commisar Danilov: "Do you know how to shoot?"
Vasily Zaitsev: "A little."
“It’s that f###ing lalo Salamanca that psychopath came back from the dead!”
"He did this! Not us, him!"
I love how he’s literally Lalo Salamanca if he wasn’t a psychopath
Lalo really turned his life around!!!
Jack is a fan of the princess bride and no one can convince me otherwise
I see it
Jack calling her “sweetie” and just wanting to be a stepdad to Kate🥺
his "hello sweetie" to kate in the finale was so sweet ❤
I love this actor. He's also amazing in Better call Saul!
The Lalo energy is off the charts.
That scene of him stealing the sword just becomes adorable upon rewatch. We were led to believe he was up to something nefarious, when he just really wanted that sword
