Hope you find this comment buried amongst the 800 plus others... Post there is an old saying, and I'm sure you have heard it before. "Measure twice, cut once". Love your content, keep at it. Your can do spirit makes your channel really stand out amongst the rest.
Sir Post as always loved the video but WOW that military generator was SUCH A GREAT FIND!!! I'm envious! You got it for an amazing bargain! And the seller seemed really honest and I liked how he gave you all that extra stuff. I think you should maybe create a cover for it but please don't make it stationary- it's meant to be portable and it's amazing to think you can go anywhere with your truck and have any power you could want, anywhere. Sooooo cool!
I totally agree. You could make a sort of open ended barn type structure that you could drive it under but open ended for ventilation and use. You really should keep it mobile😊

What a cool way to transform the truck. I built a couple wood sheds this year, so I’m laughing at forgetting the impact. Happens every time to me. Awesome job!
Former military generators are the cheapest thing. You can possibly get for a home standby. More reliable than propane or gas. Although in cold weather, i'm not sure yet
I have a diesel truck and only once in the 7-8 years that i have had it i had an issue starting it due to the fuel gelling due to the cold. (I live in Northeast Pennsylvania) @@post.10 I used diesel 911 when it happened and in 20-30 minutes i was good to go. Come the winter/cold season the diesel fuel stations sell "winter diesel" which is diesel mixed with kerosene(much lower gel/freeze point). They might have to be repacked, but I don't plan on moving it much. They don't get hot. I stopped when I was driving it for a long time just to touch everything. So I don't think they're dry or rubbing. And they're definitely recently greased.
