The reason this keeps happening is because a certain group have declared war on white people, from destroying the homogeneity of every white nation through mass immigration to "deconstructing" white history and turning whites from explorers and innovators to exploiters and "racists" to destroying strong white male icons in media, it's all part of the same agenda. However, until white people start thinking as white people, start speaking as white people, start being proud that they are white people, the proper criticism of this assault will never be achieved.

Well there is actually a thing called "heroine's journey" in storytelling theory. It's a cycle with several similarities with the hero's journey (character's gender is of course irrelevant).
The driving point of this journey is for the heroine the concile and harmonize two very different aspect of herself that seems to be incompatible at first. They're called "masculine" and "feminine" in the theory (that's just terms, can suit a large variety of concepts). The classical road is for the heroine who 1) previously abandoned feminine for masculine to 2) realize the limitations of one part, 3) learn about the other and reconcile with it 4) Understand that first part still has relevance and try combine both in an harmonious and beneficial way 5) Triumph over the story challenge and her own contraditions and doubt. Where the hero's journey is more exterior (exploring a foreign world, even if just metaphorical) and becoming better before returning home, this one is more interior.
Of course finding validity and beauty to both masculine and feminine sides and try to make them work together is an horror for the sick woke people. I'd rather call their methods: "the narcistic's journey"

Indy should be one of the most enlightened characters in cinema history. He has had multiple incontrovertible supernatural encounters including the functioning ark of the covenant of the Christian faith, Shiva's priest removing hearts from bodies with no surgery and who knows what else in his other adventures. He is aware of the existence of deities or supernatural beings. He should be a spiritual rock with an unshakable faith, he should inspire others to act with virtue and integrity because he conclusively knows that there is life after death and that he is blessed by angels.
Oh, and I forgot the holy grail. He should speak to the divine every day and spread the good word with quiet confidence, because he's had proof of divinity. Even in his darkest hour he knows that he is blessed. He would never be broken or depressed and could devote his life to the pursuit of joy, knowing that everything will be made well by the divine. So he knows for sure that the supernatural is very real and at least some of the stories are true. He was literally saved by angelic-like-beings from the Nazis at the end of raiders. He is not stupid and would be able to draw sensible inferences. He would most likely spend some time trying to figure out what were the logical conclusions from his limited but very real experiences. He would definitely believe in miracles and would have some sort of belief system that accounted for his life experiences, which would have to include some sort of story about the supernatural. Keep in mind, each movie bomb does not just lose a huge sum of money for Disney. As Disney has been a past master of capitalizing on hits, as a failure, Disney loses the revenue from successful merchandising as well as reduced interest in park attendance. As Disney must pay for merchandising and having parks in advance, movie failures are all tripled. An occasional flop is expected, but this relentless drumbeat of failure is catastrophic. The real crime is that in many cases, this is the last time we can hope to get stars like Harrison Ford, Leonard Nimoy, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Warwick Davis among others to saddle up and reprise roles. They can be recast or perhaps video faked, but the precious, unrecoverable chance for a final authentic performance has been lost. That I can neither forgive nor forget.

Here's a crazy idea. Crystal Skull was awful but it did introduce us to Indy and Marion's child, Mutt and saw Indy finally marrying Marion. Let's imagine a prestige series, ala Young Indy TNG: Mutt is attending classes at University, perhaps even one taught by his Dad where he is working his way to an archaeology degree. Mutt isn't a gifted academic, he might even have a touch of dyslexia, but he's toughing his way through. Mutt still has his bike shop where he sleeps in a small back room. This gives an excuse to constantly be having gorgeous vintage bikes in various states of disassembly wandering through the background. He visits his parents from time to time, maybe for Thanksgiving Dinner. People still come to Indy with their problems despite his advanced age. Indy has a something, and needs to be hospitalized, the mission has to go, he calls on Mutt. Mutt goes off to solve whatever the problems is/find the lost artifact/steal the military secret/etc. There could be one or more beautiful good girls back home who help Mutt in school and beautiful/dangerous girls in the world maybe a Soviet agent and/or some sort of rival agent from business/other academic institutions etc. Lots of globe trotting in the fifties and sixties, kind of Indiana Jones meets Mad Men. It's important to note that in all previous movies (even crystal skull 🤢) the villian is defeated not by Indy, but by forces they thought to control. The Ark, the stones, the grail (real or fake,) the skull - all were what defeated them. Indy was merely a witness.
Deus ex machina is kind of a theme. The deviation is that they took religious symbols, faith, and the mystical out, replacing the supernatural with science fiction. Indy is pulp adventure, like Doc Savage or the 90s Mummy.
This is becoming less The Mummy and more Wolfenstein or the Hellboy movie.

Han gets killed by his son. Indy’s son is killed off screen and is nearly killed several times by his replacement.
