Nice conversion of the old Arrid Extra Dry jingle, Jason. "Get a little close up of Rich's silver dime." (🎶"Get a little closer with Arrid Extra Dry"🎶)😆
Rich's Seated dime is beautiful!!!!!! I found a 1912 heavily tarnished silver dime and showed a friend that owns a coin shop. He said it was a smart thing that I didn't remove the black tarnish off as that it makes the old coins more desirable. I probably would have removed it if not for watching you!
The spoon is a commerative of a birth showing the time of birth and the baby is on a scale. They would engrave the hands on the clock and the baby’s weight.
Awesome video Jason, Doug, Rich and Lynn. Congrats to Doug and Rich on those two sterling silver spoons and the other finds too, IHP, buttons and Rich if that is an flying eagle cent ( runnnn) lol.
Great Hunt everyone. The Sterling Silver Spoons Congrats Rich and Doug. Congrats on the Seated Dime, War Nickles, and IHPs. Love all the Relics and Doug the Buckle is Beautiful. Take Care everyone
LOL. 🤣. Jason said he has had a slow day yet he found something I would be very happy finding ( I have found other examples including a Lion Head one made in Germany ). 🙂. @11:00 That little finial artefact is actually a Victorian era pencil sharpener. 😀. I think the one you found has N.Y. initials. HH from across the pond. 🙂.
Great hunt!!! I love watching you guys, I wish that I could get out and hunt again, but those days are pretty much over for me 😢. But thank you for sharing your adventures with us 😊😊😊
My guess is that they repurposed that shoe buckle. Either it broke or just became outdated with new shoes, and they needed a Horsetack buckle in a pinch.
I think what you have is a Pewter Hand Held Pencil Sharpner! Way Cool!!! The back sid eisn't damaged, I think that is just where the cutting blade is and the shavings come out!
Another great episode from Team QH! I remember detecting around a community building in an old park in a city in Georgia and I found THREE Indian Head pennies within a few inches of each other and they were only an inch or so under the dirt. I couldn't believe that they were so close to the surface. THEN, on the back side of the same building, I detected a very faint signal and it was enough "target" that I decided to dig it. About 10" down I found an 1898 Barber dime! For some that would have been "just another day" but for me it was a glorious detecting morning!!
Sounds like your area has developed the new York horn and finger driving approach. 😂 Good hunt guys. You should of handed Rich a regular nickle back. See if he noticed
That was an awesome hunt- I agree, I'd hit that front yard yet again. So much silver and other great finds! Gotta hand it to you Jason, the humor just flies out, sometimes making no sense, which to me, makes it even funnier. You do an excellent job on these vids- keep up the great work!
Man......yall killed it today! Great finds! I really thought Doug would find his flying eagle. The war nickels are weird. It's rare enough to dig one up......but three? Lol. Nice.
When my friends and I do yards we use a piece of canvas to place under the dirt then we can just dump it back into the holes. Some of your holes appear quite large. Other than that you've some great finds.
Like to meet you somewhere one of these days not that far away When rich found that fatty Indian cent I have a few that year tore up my whole apartment looking for them see if I had that variety still looking
Tell Doug to use electrolysis to clean up that iron ring on the buckle. I could almost see, unless my eyes were playing tricks on me, a hand at the end of that "iron ring".
Always a great search with fantastic finds!! Hey I need a little help... I became legally blind almost a year ago and I still want to detect. I have the previous Legen snd want to set it up to knock out iron and have a low tone then for coins both silver and copper plus relics notch in tubers with tone. Any ideas? I have a friend thill set it up for me but doesn't metal detect any help would be appreciated.

I think what you have is a Pewter Hand Held Pencil Sharpner! Way Cool!!! The back sid eisn't damaged, I think that is just where the cutting blade is and the shavings come out!
The little baby "finial" is a pencil sharpener. I found one this spring
Charlie from stealth diggers has the best shovels
If Charlie would've been there... he would've been the finder of any good stuff lol

Friends of mine swear by Snap On tools. Rich must be shopping at the competitor - Snap Off. How do you break a shovel like that? Nick Some Kryptonite?
Your finial is an antique pencil sharpener. Thanks for sharing.
Yup. I just posted the same.
Who Hoo!
Sounds like your area has developed the new York horn and finger driving approach. 😂 Good hunt guys. You should of handed Rich a regular nickle back. See if he noticed
Your finial is an old pencil sharpener, the rust is the remains of the blade.
That is correct.
You beat me to it.
Hello Quarter Hoarder,Dog Tag Doug ,Charlie and Rich n Lynn
Lots a silver on that adventure! Looks like Richard needs an Excalibur! 😁
Excellent video guys thanks for sharing this six stars
Great hunt guys, love the spoon bowls, nice coins and relics

Aerosmith was my first concert. 1985.
Awesome hunt guys! I love your guys group!
When my friends and I do yards we use a piece of canvas to place under the dirt then we can just dump it back into the holes. Some of your holes appear quite large. Other than that you've some great finds.
Could the fancy finial be an early pencil sharpener, open on the bottom and the split in the back with the rust could have been the blade 🤔
11.25 nice pencil sharpener. Congrats now to finish watching
Great ID, I scrolled through a few comments and missed this, funny I have never found one but recognised it straigh away.
Rich’s spoon bowl is beautiful. And to be right on top too. Great find. I think y’all need to go back at least one more time. 😊
❤️
Lots of silver! Jason is the Steve Tyler of metal detecting! LOL!!!!
Another great site 😊
Great hunt. Many thanks
Beautiful spoon bowls Doug & Rich. Awesome seated Rich. Dang Rich - his brute strength keeps breaking his shovels?
Don't pry on targets Rich... 😉🤣
The 1943 wartime Jeffersons have a overdate variety ("3" over "2") that's worth checking to see under magnification 🔬.
Awesome day.
My guy Doug! You'll find one soon, man. All I find are pull tabs, so you're doing good! 😂
Congrats all around guys! I have to agree on your finial being an antique pencil sharpener. 👍
Rich probably nicked something with the shovel
The coins are nice but where are all the bottle caps and pull tabs ??? 😂😂
👍👍

Be easier to ask then look through your 450 vids. Do you search plantations? Very good vid, thanks!
Was that a cks shovel I hope not that looks identical to the one I got last year lol
Tell Doug to use electrolysis to clean up that iron ring on the buckle. I could almost see, unless my eyes were playing tricks on me, a hand at the end of that "iron ring".

I believe that small item Jason found is a pencil sharpener....
Rich needs to get a shovel from Predator Tools, They are the best,They do not break
Man, you guys look like you are dressed to go to Alaska! What's the temperature up there? It's been in the 90s here in Florida.
That day was about 5 weeks ago, maybe more. And it was a drizzly, cool day to boot
You may as well get the dog a metal detector if he/she is going to hang around!!!
YESSS!!!
27th like, happy tuesday, guys, lets find some cool stuff, good luck, everyone.
Jason has mangled more old aphorisms. His metaphors are really Metaphives...
He’s like the old comedian, Norm Crosby. He just makes words up. They do sound funny though!😊
THAT SHOVEL SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE WELDED WITH SMALL PLATES OVER THE BREAK IN THE FRONT AND BACK!!!
Was that shoe buckle turned into a belt buckle
Good observation. That’s a reasonable guess
