Love my Embassy RV. As a solo female traveler it is so easy to maintain. No propane, no generator and no black tank. Embassy has incredible integrity and great innovation. Glad I found them.
Wow, amazing! I'm curious to see the B plus
I can’t remember Cheri. Are you full time in your Embassy?
@@BillSprague I am not fulltime but have went off for 4.5 months at a time.
Hay cheri small world. Im just a Travado girl all the way
@@Shaderunner7153 as late nag as you love what you are in the adventure can begin!
We picked up our Embassy RV Dolpin S on a Ford Transit on June 27th, 2023, and love it! We named her Grace. At Embassy, you can choose your interior colors. Jen mentioned in another video about Embassy having dark colors. You can choose black cabinets and black coach covers, if you'd like. We choose white cabinets, white countertop and light Auster gray coach covers. Grace is very light and bright. I have a new Anchor Moments RV channel and you can tour Grace. Thanks so much for your videos! I have enjoyed your channel for a long time, and it was exciting to see you highlight our favorite company, Embassy! 😊
You're absolutely right, that is a very reasonable price for such a quality camper van.
I'm EXTREMELY impressed by this company's products!
I’ll be sending in my deposit to Embassy this week. The innovation in these vans is just amazing.
Update: Nücamp has announced its new 920 truck camper and I’m holding off my Embassy order until I see that and Embassy’s new Cape Cod B+. I’ll probably be able to move forward with a Cirrus much more quickly. I’m old and I’ve no idea when the (yet to be seen) Cape Cod will enter production. With a Cirrus, I’d have a permanent real queen sized bed. No, I haven’t as yet seen the new 920 but the old 020 could have worked and the new one promises to be a dry bath rig with lots of LiFePo3 for off grid use.
Getting the wife on board may be tough but innovation, quality, ease of use and resale value may sway the day!!
Look Honey 😁👍
Finally, you were able to see what we have. Thank you, Mike & Jen - for your guidance over the past few years that predicated our decision to get an Embassy.
Now this is innovation! The established RV industry needs to get going. I need just a little more room, so I've contacted them concerning their Cape Cod timeline. Thx for the video.
Glad you did this tour. Embassy makes a fabulous RV and has superb customer service.
Would love to see them build a close competitor to the Winnebago Ekko on the Transit using these construction methods and materials. I'd be very interested!
They ARE working on their own version of the EKKO, but NOT copying it. It is named Cape Cod as mentioned in this video.
We will get our SL near the end of Sept. been patiently waiting over a year. We have been to Elkhart and met with Terry and Wanda (what a doll) Terry was gracious and spent considerable time walking us down the assembly line. At my age (84) you can’t take chances with build quality. It is our first rig and we look forward to the experience.🙏
Absolutely fantastic video. This really shows the innovation of an Embassy build and the integrity that goes into making one.
We LOVE our Embassy Dolphin SL (like the one you showed in the video), and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
This video showed me some things I didn’t realize about the Embassy build… like the ability of the metal cabinets to flex.
Terry’s explanation of EFFICIENCY over POWER with the A/C was truly enlightening.
BTW… those drawers are soft close, so you don’t need to close them all the way. They do that on their own!
And those seat belts are DOT tested and beyond what the DOT requires for safety standards.
Also, when talking about price, it does fluctuate depending on what extra options you may want, but even so, it isn’t a price PLUS dealer costs (sometimes as much as $3k) since there are no dealers to contend with. The price is the price. And this is for something that has custom features, unlike the big assembly line manufacturers.
Thank you for showing off this amazing and innovative RV. Be seeing you!
Theses seem to be some of the best at cutting edge design.
This is the RV that I’m planning to get when I’m ready to purchase.
I can't wait to see what the B-plus will be like, I hope it comes out soon because I am looking for my next rig.
I’m waffling between their upcoming B+ and the SL. For solo travel, either would be amazing for my solo travels.
Definitely headed in the right direction! Love to see their Class C when it comes out.
What about off gassing of glue, fiberglass and composites?
Reminds me of Triton Bassboats. All composite, lasts forever
QUESTION: How much lighter are these RVs and does the lighter weight enhance MPG?
Interesting...Thank you for video. Blessings to you..
Just discovered this brand yesterday. Found your video this morning. Really trust your opinion, looking forward to this episode!
Great video. Thank you.
I love this!!!!
I love my Embassy Dolphin!
Been following you guys a long time! Thanks for everything! Will be getting our Embassy in the fall!
Great video on Embassy, very clear
Very smart initiative van l love it Thanks so very much!
I give you 5 stars for this
Wow this looks really great, wonder if there are ever previously owned ones for sale? I’m interested in spending a little less than what you mentioned. Or should I just discuss with the builder?👏🏻
My Dolphin S is expected to go into production in early August. It will be a 14 month wait for me. So, according to this video, they are able to speed up the process.
I've had my Dolphin S (formerly known as the Embassy Traveler) for 9 months now...very satisfied
I’m sold!
I would like it w/a rear bathrm.. 20 ft length.😊
When they do a class c I will be knocking on their door
I'd love to know the wet curb weight on one of these. Given the materials used, it has to be at least 500 lbs less than something like a Coachmen Beyond and that should reduce fuel consumption and allow for better stability while driving. I wonder if they even need to build these on the 11000 lb chassis. Stepping down to the 9550 SRW would reduce weight and rolling resistance even more, further improving fuel economy and stability. If dreams came true, I'd have a custom van built by Advanced RV or Humble Road, but since I definitely can't afford that, an Embassy van is the only non custom class B I'd buy.
I'm not a fan of the look of the plastic cabinets/panels, but I can get over that if the overall build quality/durability is on point. The biggest reason I don't want a production class B from a major brand is the pathetic quality across the industry. That said, you can't dispute the level of innovation Embassy is doing.
How does this do in crash tests?
The ONLY thing I would change is to make the storage cabinets a light color. The dark color they now come in just doesn't do it for me.
How long the battery last if turn off power with AC on in a very hot climate?
Is Embassy considering building an RV on the Promaster chassis someday?
Embassy uses Transit, Promaster and Sprinter chassis. All depends on your floor plans, needs and chassis availability.
I have an Embassy on a Promaster. They had trouble getting the Promaster chassis but last I heard they were going to get 5 Promaster’s this year.
It's nice that the composite materials are light and strong. And mold and mildew resistant. But what about being fire-proof? Is it also highly combustible like most vehicle interiors?
If so, and even if the van has a smoke detector, how about a roof-shower sprinkler system?
If not, forget I asked :o)
Do they sell direct or use a dealership system?
They sell direct. They are "controlled custom'" vehicles, which means they build when you order one, not before. Unlike fully customized builders, that can run in the $300k or more price range, Embassy is not FULLY customizable. There are options to choose and sometimes minor modifications are possible.
Do they do truck campers?
What do they start at......$ wise?
What is the cooktop choice for this rig?
Induction cook top that can be used in kitchen or plugged in anywhere (outside of van if desired)
@@davidcamuccio5220 Thanks! What a great RV!
No wood, less time in repair shop...I never did like the "staple" method used in cabinetry..
As much as I love peoples home built campers, I hate that most of them end up looking like a Sauna inside, with tounge and groove wood from top ro bottom.
That said, I dont mind a little wood trim and fabric panels, because all composite feels "cold and sterile"
There has to be balance
Composition walls. Sounds like plastic and vinyl...carcinogens . ? 1600Ah ..when money is no problem.. They don't have a four place dinette up front and an always made up bed plan.
Just keep the rear always made up. No class B has a 4 person dinette.
Metal cabinets just aren't as pretty.
Absurd price
Yea, absurdly low for what you get! Amazing van at an amazing low price point.
@@jw3252 nice
Very reasonable compared to most mass produced B vans.
